You're right, sorry. This has not changed. I simply did not know the old rule (though I've been an elder and attended Kingdom School myself), and it is expressed a bit differently in the German book.

What happened?

Page 84: If the accused is a married sister, it is best to have her believing husband present for the hearing. He is her head, and his efforts to restore her and direct her can be very helpful.

According to the old book, only the accused and 3 or more elders should be present.

The branch office should be informed whenever an elder or a ministerial servant is no longer serving for the following reasons ... Moving or death: ... In such cases, an announcement of deletion would not be made to the congregation.

Nice. If an elder dies, it is not necessary to announce that he is no longer an elder.

first and foremost i want to thank all the brothers (and one or two sisters) who were pdfing like mad to get these 'pre-kingdom school' chapter reviews ready (as per boe ltr these are 1,2,4-7,9 & 11)!.

for those of you trying to see who could do the entire book i want to let you know we had a 'dark horse' enter this race and his email was so compelling he is our 'winner' in being responsible for the full book (forthwith coming in the next day or so)-- and i will reveal more about him (as per his wishes) then.. so lets not waste anymore time in reviewing chapter one of the 'shepheding the flock of god' published by the wts (a non-profit organization whose purpose of this publication like all others is provided as part of a worldwide bible educational work.

Yes, the book is called "Shepherding the Flock of God".

Is it vailable anywhere yet?

No, elders received their copies today, so likely it will be available soon.

By the way, what the heck is KS?

The abbreviation of the former elders' manual ("Kingdom School book").
