Oh .. just saw this thread now.
@Newly Enlightened .... this is my own page ;)
there are many scans of the golden age available in the internet, but no single issue from 1925 to 1929. is there a reason for that?
does simply no one have these issues?.
it seems that these issues contains lots of ridiculous articles.. stephan.

i believe there was a magazine or newspaper published during russell's time called the people's pulpit.
i'm specifically trying to locate vol.
can anyone point me in the right direction?
There is a lot of contradicting information regading these publications, see my discussion here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/266074/bible-students-monthly-when-published?page=1
It seems that "Volume I" was published in 1909, hence the issue in question must be from early 1910. Likely they used slightly different versions in different cities, that's why the issue in question is not in my archive.
Even the WTS doesn't know it ;) .. since the KM mentioned someone distributing The Bible Students Monthly (the successor of the successor of The People's Pulpit) in 1906.
does anyone remember the threads that posted funny parody pictures of the various publications?.
you know, ones with titles changed.... such as"you can live forever with parasites on earth".
(a brother in the canadian branch wants to do a skit with them for a family night show!
doesn't that throw off the date?.

in establishing the length of the seven times of the gentiles, a time or year of 360 days is used, to give 2,520 days, which become 2,520 years when ezekiel 4:6 is applied.
Of course a prophetic year is 365 years, see here ;9

they seem to have laid off their proofreaders.
in the new 03/2016 study watchtower there is a picture description:a mature young person does not act like a friend of god at the kingdom hall but a friend of the world at school.
the german issue saysein reifer junger mensch verhalt sich im konigreichssaal nicht wie ein freund jehovas und in der schule wie ein freund der welt.
Of course, the sentence
Ein reifer junger Mensch verhält sich im Königreichssaal nicht wie ein Freund Jehovas und in der Schule wie ein Freund der Welt
is correct. But it is not really good language and can be easily misunderstood. It would much clearer like this:
Ein reifer junger Mensch verhält sich nicht im Königreichssaal wie ein Freund Jehovas und in der Schule wie ein Freund der Welt
i find it interesting that the other night they announced that literature is not to be left indiscriminately.
they said to only leave literature if the householder engages you in conversation.
it used to be that they would try to get any literature into every hand of every person.
Are you serious?
Sure.
Beginning in January 2016, all placements—whether print-ed or electronic—will be reported in one combined category entitled "Placements." (Electronic place-ments would include files of or links to videos, books, magazines, articles, tracts, and so forth.)

Ein reifer junger Mensch verhält sich im Königreichssaal nicht wie ein Freund Jehovas und in der Schule wie ein Freund der Weltwhich means, if you interpret it correctly according to Grammar: "A mature young person does not act like a friend of God at the Kingdom Hall. He acts like a friend of the world at school."

send PDFs of WT literature to householders' smartphones and tablets, and each download will count as a "placement"
Is that not what they're doing from January on?
