  I don't whine and I don't try to bring 'em down. Why? Cause I could care less, and don't feel I should embark on a mission to destroy the tower.

  Can't stomach stuff like that anymore. They always say they respect other peoples religion yet that is such a lie. And what in the world is a twisted truth anyway.

  well i mean, they came to my apartment building an hour ago, 4 in the car, 1 came out, went to one of the units upstairs for 2 minutes, didn't do the other doors, didn't do any of the neighboors.

  they headed back to town which is 20 minutes away.

  with that kind of efficiency it's over trust me....

  our home galaxy contains up to 1 billion stars...our universe contains over 50 billion galaxies with billions of stars...why here would god take his stand...send his god son to deliver us...a big galaxy with a nondiscript star with a few planets and we are the center of gods attention...makes you wonder....sometimes...

  Or maybe we are the first intelligent species to have evolved so far. We can't assume other intelligent life forms exist on other planets just because the universe is huge, we could be the first and only ones.

  Even if, there were other life forms, the distance that separates us would make it impossible for anyone to visit other planets in their own lifetime. And even if you could, would you really want to spend the next 40 billion years in a spaceship just to get there, actually to get to the closest system. You can't go any faster than the speed of light.

  So here we are in the middle of nowhere, alone and stuck with each other. The thought is depressing especially the way we're behaving.

  The search goes on, but I would like to know. Still waiting for a proof of some kind.

  i have to admit, i've been kinda watching this nervously.

  it's too close to a slippery slope to just come in and take kids from a religion en masse, but at the same time, forcing underage girls into marriages is sick sick sick.. .

  Why hasn't there been any arrests in this case? If this was a polygamist group, plus sex abuse, both illegal, where are the abusers? It seems they do not talk about the men or any charges.

  They should not separate the kids from their mothers but the men. This thing is weird.

  In my case it really takes all credibility out of what someone is saying, especially when discussing serious matters. A couple of typos or (worst) misused homonyms and I move to the next post or topic. I was brought up by a school teacher, so I guess its a dysfunction in my case.

  Note: If you use a spell check remember that they don't deal well with homonyms (words that sound the same but are written differently), they won't be flagged.

  apparently quite a few jw's feel that inviting people to the memorial via craigslist is effective witnessing.

  you know they counted their time typing out the free ad, too!.
