  I hope -Secrets of pedophilia add is gone soon to stop dirty looks at work

  everytime i check something here that god damn pop up comes up..."secrets of pedophilia.......{long pause} ......in an american religion.

  I agreed with you last time and still do. It's probably some scammer trying to sell some junk information about witnesses being pedophiles and such, and having little evidence to show for it except a bunch of hearsay stories. They are obviously willing to pay decent money to have their banner flashing in my face year after year. Your concerns were ignored last time obviously, but we have to be understanding of theirs because it's so important what they have to say. If I had smillies I'd insert the rolling eyes here. Making money off pedophilia stories is just as bad as pedophilia itself, they sell to the sick minds who wish to read them. Let the flames begin..hehe.

  Jesus never shyed away from defending his positions and it seems like the apostles did the same, according to the bible, that is. If it's the truth then what's the problem. The stance they take that you shouldn't question and debate (them) is ridiculous and contrary to the teachings of the bible. The bible encourages it.

  Obviously this is not the work of an ex jw but rather a christian from some wacko fundamentalist church where they roll on the floor filled with the spirit. You can tell by the way their women look (long hair, fat). Also his obsession with Russell and hell. Most of these christians think JW talk about Russell all the time. He's not even funny, and a bad actor, besides who does he think he is calling people dumb and stupid.

  Ovation Guitar anyone?

  i used to play the guitar quite a bit but haven't practiced seriously for quite a few years (and left my guitar in the uk when we moved over here).. yesterday i decided i should get myself a guitar again so i popped into a music store and had a strum on a few.. the ovation guitars seemed really nice and not too expensive.

  does anyone have one or have any experience of them?

  i would love the electic one they do that can also sound acoustic but can't really justify spending so much so would probably get a regular wood / round-backed one.. thanks.

  We can't all be virtuosos, but we all have our own particular styles. Who knows, maybe your wailing is what people would want to hear. Playing music is a never ending story, so like Angharad said, .....go and buy a real one dear, play, it can only get better.

  I don't think it's the uncomfortable aspect of it as much as the fact that the rounded back makes it that the guitar is always sliding down when it's supported by the leg (sitting down) and you're always trying to pull it back up while playing. I've seen a few people glue a piece of material on the bottom part (back) to stop it from sliding. But if you're comfortable with it, it is a good sounding acoustic, and if I remember right the neck is not too wide, good if you have smaller hands.
  
  I agree with the small amp with effects (at least a 10" speaker though), it's always nice to have reverb and chorus with an acoustic, gives it that extra dimension.
