  2011 Memorial attendance/partaking

  has anyone got plans to go to the 2011 memorial (mock the christ ritual), and take the emblems (cardboard and vinegar), to inflate the 'partakers' stats?.

  After Reinstatement

  i never had anyone close to me d'fd when i was still in my jw daze.

  but i know that once it happens, good friends are crushed and desperately want that person reinstated.

  when they are reinstated, there is a lot of (quiet) celebration.

  My sister was df'd 7 ears ago and got reinstated within 2 years. There is still one so called friend from her former cong that won't have anything to do with her, and they were really good friends for years. before. So much love! GAG

  What are your late night cravings?

  currently mine are: peking duck pancakes, a sexy danish guy ( love those danes) and sleep.

  yes thats right, have spent 4 nights without sleep,... the old withdrawal symtoms still banging on don't ya know!.

  am currently at the point where smashing plates seems like a very refreshing and appropriate activity.

  Share Your Tales of Annoying Car Group Advice

  ohhhh.... do i ever have loads of these stories!

  i pioneered in the mid-90's (mostly out of guilt and fear and hope to pacify my parents before dropping the "i wanna go to college" bombshell on them, but i digress...) and i gotta tell ya, it was the most frustrating 2 years of my life!

  at that time, there were over 20 of us as many my age recently graduated high school to "join the ranks" (as the co at the time said).

  3/15 WT " Do Not Deceive Yourself "- WT's Excuses for No Armageddon

  with the new " overlap generation " theory that the wt society is pushing onto rank and file jehovah's witnesses since last year this article i found really heavy hitting in the jw version of the wt.

  the wt society is leaking oil in that confidence is low among jw's in not really buying into the " generation overlap " theory as many younger jw's are exiting the organization.

  so what better way to try reeling members back in by giving them an article entitled " do not deceive yourself with false reasoning " !

  Thw way I look at it is this way,, If it looks like a skunk, stinks like a skunk, and walks like a skunk, then think for yourself and get the **** out of there before you get the stink all over you! That did'nt make as much sense as I thought it would but I think you get my point. I'm so glad I got away from that skunk.

  What's Your Worst/Best Quality About You?

  i'd say my worst is sometimes i don't like to deal with important things and don't unless necessary.. my best quality (and there are so many that this may be difficult.

  My worst quality is that I have a hard time saying no to people I love. I hide my true feelings at times. I guess my best quality is that i love them uncondtionally no matter what they do.

  i can remember one pompous elder asking me "how can you be depressed after sittiing through such a wonderful meeting?!!".

  i only ever felt relief at getting away, what about you?.

  Maybe I did many years ago but the last few years I dreaded them so bad. Had to go because I was the piano player when they still allowed it. But toward the end the only refreshing part was the trip home.

  hi everybody, i was wondering how were you dealing with the snow.here in connecticut the snow is brutal.so i was wondering how people were surviving was is being the worst winter since 1978..

  Here in Okla. we had freezing rain, then sleet and now 2 or 3 in. of snow and it is 10 degrees out with high wind gusts. In other words, it sucks!
