sorry about the false start.. .

this above phrase was recently said to me by a dub, when i told them that i didn't attend any more and that i felt much better for it.

I'm happier now because when I do the right thing it's because I want to, not because it is expected or else. I've noticed that I'm friendlier with complete strangers now, in the sense that I don't look upon then as "worldly", not deserving my time and attention. It's wierd what being free can do to a person's whole attitude on life and people.

it is a peculiar experience.. once you are out of the kingdom hall forever and haven't been in field service for many years...... a knock comes at your front door and you answer it only to find:.

that happened to me......finally.. in the last decade i don't think i've encountered anything other than mormons or drug ministry fund raisers at my door.. but--this time, it was the real thing.. it was two sisters and they weren't much older than their 20's.. they didn't know i was satan himself, of course and i was reluctant to interrupt them and tell them.. what to do---what to do?

Terry don't feel like what you said to them did'nt amount to anything. I remember years ago I was in service and called on a man that used to be a Witness. He explained some of the reasons he no longer believed it Even though it took a few years later for me to wake up, I'll never forget the things he told me and how envious I was of him, even back then.

i feel like woody allen in the 1973 movie "the sleeper".

i leave in 1995, wake up 15 yrs later to see what has been going on in the jw religion and find out it is completely different from what i left.

i started a thread about beards, because i wanted to know how the modern day beard and goatee fad went over in the kh's.. now i'm curious about the tattoo, piercings and short or shaved hair look.
