  my 10 year old grandson is in the hospital with really high blood pressure.

  he has a urinary tract blockage which is affecting his kidney function,which resulted in the high blood pressure.

  his dad, soonernc7 and his mom are with him now.

  Thanks guys for the thoughts and prayers.I just talked to Sooner and the little one has some loss of kidney function. This is very un-nerving to hear. But the blood pressure is under control. There will be more tests done over the next few days so he will be in the hospital at least through next Monday. Hopefully this issue can be fixed and he can come visit me over the summer school break.

  We still don't know much. Tests were done today but I still have'nt heard the results. This waiting is torture.

  sacolton he is at Cook Children's Hos. in Ft.Worth. They live in Mineral Wells. His name is Coltin! I talked to my son this morning and everything was the same. Just waiting on the tests to be done.

His dad, SoonerNC7 and his mom are with him now. He was in so much pain today ,so we really need your good thoughts and those of you who pray to please think of us. He will probably need some sort of surgery to correct this, so he will be there for a few days. We really appreciate all of our true friends here.

  Did you swear when you were a JW?

  i have noticed that quite a few people here swear and use profanity.

  an elder once told me this is quite common in the congregations he has been in.

  i was raised in so never allowed to swear and never got into the habit.

  Elder keeps calling and calling and calling

  since the sheparding visit a few weeks ago i have had three phone calls and two drop bys from the elders .

  we have been gone both times they stopped by (but our son saw them and did not answer the door ).

  the phone messages are directed to me not my husband, and the one left today he sounded a bit on edge .

  I'd return his call and tell him that I know longer wanted to talk about it. Nicely tell him that you are not interested in discussing it. If he persists in bothering you then write a letter to the cong and tell them to put you on the don't call list. Maybe that will put an end to it.

  I can't believe pacman is 30 years old. When it first came out one of the elders in the cong got so addicted to this game that he had to be couceled for playing to much and influencing the younger ones to play to much. I remember many times we'd cut service early and go to the local arcade so he and the younger boys could play. His wife sure got tired of that. It seems so funny now.
