  after leaving the religion, my lesbian couple friends were the most compassionate people, and i will always love them!.

  i am heterosexual, but find gays to be absolutely fabulous!!.

  i would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.

  the wt society has their own definition of what's considered " lawless ".

  anything that's considered a disfellowshipping offense in the jehovah's witnesses is now considered " lawless ".

  Idiots, that is what most Jehovah’s Witnesses are. If someone goes back to the so called “Truth”, well, they deserve exactly what they get and that is mind control. Some people feel lost cold and naked without someone doing their thinking for them; it is a real sickness, sometimes you just have to let the drowning person drown in their own misery, or they will fuck up your head so bad you may never regain your mental health again. Stupid idiots!

  our public talk and wt study is on saturdays.

  i was informed by an elder that i shouldn't leave right away after the meeting.. immediately i had a sinking feeling in my stomach.

  but not as bad as i would have felt about it months ago.

  Ah shucks you should not let that bother you at all, those Turd headed elders have been trained by Borg mother ship to get everyone to obediently go into the their little back room full of stupid books and men in lousy suits and be brow beaten by their bull shit. I am proud of myself now that used my intestinal fortitude to just sit there at the table in their star chamber; and just simply grin at them when they kept asking me probing personal questions. I remember one elder becoming perturbed at me and said brother (Hootie), you should be cooperating with Jehovah’s judicial arrangement you have been in the truth most of your life. I said yeah, and that has been a waste of my precious time making bricks for Pharaohs in New York City, all for what? I still remember, basically they all said to me that such an attitude will be stumbling to many others in the congregation, at that I said: well” I hope they follow me down, and I got up and put on my leather jacket and said I am going to go drink a beer and shoot some pool. Adios.

  POLL/SURVEY- Why Did You Leave The Organization of JW's?

  why did you leave the organization of jehovah's witnesses, and/or why are you contemplating leaving the organization of jehovah's witnesses?.

  i've tried to boil it down to the most likely answers based on all the reasons i have heard over the years from xjw's.

  a. because the watchtower bible & tract society does not have the truth.. b. because i had a personality conflict with other members of the organization.. c. because i discovered that the wtbts was not being honest or forthcoming about its history.. d. because serving jehovah was too difficult and i just wanted to be worldly and do wicked things.. e. because the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have proved to be false prophets.. f. because i found just cause to disagree with erroneous jw teachings.. g. because the governing body and/or elders were hypocritical.

  I was rudely awakened when my daughter was sexually abused by a known abuser who had just been released from prison, I pursued the situation with the elders, naturally expecting sympathy from them but never got it; they like on all other occasions reminded me that we must protect the organization. I was told that I must not seek legal help because it would cause reproach on the society; I quickly told the elder body “well” that is just tuff shit! Now isn’t it. Long story short, I put that asshole back in prison for eight more years, I hope he shits like a Cow now.

  Is it acceptable for JWs to put flowers on a loved one's grave?

  i want to go and put some flowers on my grandma's grave.

  she died 9 years ago feb 19. i haven't been out there since the funeral.

  i can't remember where the cemetary is, and i will have to ask my jw relatives (who don't know my status) where she is buried.

  It just amazes me and flabbergasts me, how so many people from the Jehovah’s Witnesses and other control groups will so nonchalantly, abide by anything and everything that the hierarchy suggests; or more aptly tells them to do. My god people wake up, you should not even have to ask such questions, if you have to ask such questions then this in and of its self, should tell you that you are in a CULT. Duh!
