Does anyone else notice?...

i started this in another thread but i think it deserves its own......... does anyone else notice, that as they see the wt for what it is, the wt articles seem to not actually "teach" anything anymore?

- it just seems to constanly preach over and over to not listen to apostates, not listen to news/internet/documentaries, not listen to anything critical of the org.

just to read the bible and "by extension" bible-based literature.

Yes, I think its called Paranoia..condition the WT has. Desperation to control the people, keep the people, use the people kicks in again & again.

i saw the news item, and was going to pass it on to dad but he beat me to it....someone had already e-mailed him about it.

his e-mail was from cnn which stated jw's are fastet growing, but also dead last in retaining those raised in that faith....yeah!

Elders knew a woman got raped- the woman presses charges but case was

dropped because there wasn't enough evidence.

the elders did there investigation and could probably help the case out a lot because they found the woman to be innocent and the guy guilty... they knew eachother through jws.

he was going to the meetings his whole life, but didn't have any priviledges.. 6-8 months later he became a publisher.

We gave our kids a lesson about how fast gossip goes around the Kh. Never underestimate the power of one person, in a closed society gossip travels like wild fire.

So we started our own rumor by telling one person this, " We've been thinking we would like to move to ______someday. But don't tell anyone." By the end of the week at the Sunday

meeting we had people flooding around us including a couple of elders, "So someone mentioned you guys had given notice for your jobs and were going to be moving to _______

in a couple of months". When we left the hall our kids mouths dropped they were quite shocked.

just read and submerge yourself in learning and healing. It just takes time

i love a good coincidence.

it is the closest i get to the supernatural these days.

how about this one.. a couple of days ago i was working from my home office and while doing so was listening to a bbc radio 7 re-run of the 1960's radio comedy, "i am sorry i will read that again", with john cleese etc.

Everyday for a month when you go to work you find 11 cents, 1 dime & 1 penny not 9 cents not a quarter but 1 dime 1 penny each and everyday what are the chances of that? And not in

same place and there is no possibility any one could of put this in any of these places. hmmmm
