in are ceremony we didn't have unleavened bread so we used Twinkies sliced into quarters and instead of red wine
we used grape Koolaid and passed that around at the dinner table.

one man down so far.........the old biatch is going strong.. my mom was here for a couple of hours, that was cool.

of course, i think she was just baby-sitting my dad.. mom looked kinda sad, probably cos we are partying on the memorial.. .

as i grow in my spirituality i cant help but think about the sacrafice that god made by allowing his son to die for our sins.

I have come to reflect on these scriptures more and more over the past few years that life eternal is a free gift

from God.

We are saved by faith, not works

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from youselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do " (Eph. 2:8,9).

The steps to confession,

" If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved " (Romans 10:9, 10).

We were dead in our sins as unbelievers,
" As for you [believers], you were DEAD in your transgressions and sins [before you became believers], in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air [Satan], the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. . . .We were by nature objects of [God's] wrath. But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in Mercy, MADE US ALIVE with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved " (Ephesians 2:1-5).

Just my thoughts of great scriptures!

My mom just called she lives over and hour away, chit chatted to no get up and did not say a word about memorial,

I think she has to know by now that I have not been to one memorial or meeting for years and years I stopped counting. I can't remember, it has to

be at least over 5 years (brain fog) for memorial anyways. I just am dumb founded she never asks!

Elders come to see me...

i am now roman catholic :-).

the easter vigil mass (at which i was baptized) was 8 p.m. yesterday, and we had a meeting at the church yesterday morning.

so i went home for the afternoon to get ready for the evening.. so who else would show up at our door (during the three hours or so i was home all day) but two jw elders.
