  the only colors that came out were the blue and the white.

  I think that Yaba Daba (or whatever the name is) is trying to make a valid point but is coming across a bit crass.

  The world is a big place. Until you have seen poverty with your own eyes, it's hard to imagine.

  Tonight while purchasing a book I was asked if I wanted to donate to a child's reading program. She said "it's a good cause". I didn't say it out loud but inside I got quite angry because not a week ago I had homeless children around me who were 5-7 years old begging for food at 10pm at night in a lousy neighbourhood - banging on my cab door. Is reading in the first world more important than those kids? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. :(

  People are continually faced with contradictions. Fighting for gay rights instead of feeding the poor. Playing around on the internet instead of helping your community. Where does it end? I really don't have any answers.

  seems that she was upset her boyfriend had been arrested for a dui a few hours earlier, so she smokes a bowl of pot and then drives off with her baby on the car roof- the baby was unhurt- mom joins her boyfriend in jail.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idee4xexzhk.
