  when i first attended the congregation of jehovahs witnesses i never even thought about whom or what was the faithful and discreet slave.

  i do not believe that this information is ever taught to the public directly.

  i think you have to be baptised or start attending the same meetings as those that are baptised.. anyway what made all of you adapt the teaching of the faithful and discreet slave (class or whatever)?

  Now how do you know that Satan is not hiding these visions - some of the 'good' ones are actually there to mislead you. Are you certain? Just an honest question.

  "attempted suicide"... meaning..?

  i see this expression being used frequently and i think it would be helpful to parse the possible meaning by the person using it.

  because it has such a huge range of possible impressions that could be taken by the reader.

  just to illustrate, i will place myself in the #1 category below of person who might use the expression "attempted suicide".. a.

  I've been suicidal at some points in my life - in the A category. I would consider an attempt in the B category - you've already made the arrangements, and stopped for various reasons.

  Just go - you'll be happier. Seek some therapy too - I think most people should have regular therapy as part of they're leaving the witnesses.

  You don't need to announce it either - I left for 2 + years, and didn't say a word. Trust me - it's just a computer. And this ain't the real world, either.
