Sigh, another one of these threads. I've already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that God's name is:

another question for everyone.
i have read through some of the threads, posts or whatever and even though there is a sense of disagreement over witnesses and the society, their way of handling the words of the bible.
i was curious to know if anyone does believe jehovah is his name?

here's what it said about me: diagnosis:.
i do not know how you feel about it, but you were female in your last earthly incarnation.. you were born somewhere around territory of modern arktik approximately on 1650.. your profession was warrior, hunter, fisherman, executor of sacrifices.
Diagnosis:
I do not know how you feel about it, but you were male in your last earthly incarnation.
You were born somewhere around territory of modern Ontario approximately on 1300.
Your profession was warrior, hunter, fisherman, executor of sacrifices.
Your brief psychological profile in that past life:
You always liked to travel, to investigate, could have been detective or spy.
Lesson, that your last past life brought to present:
You should develop your talent for love, happiness and enthusiasm and to distribute these feelings to all people.
Now you remember?
This could explain my love for martial arts and the Ocean. I'm developing love and happiness but I'm not too enthused about anything.

Marty was 25 and unmarried when I knew him. But if it is the same person then I'm glad to see he finally had sex.
LiquidSky I sent you an email. I also attended the Graham KH for about 5-6 years. It was the most gossipy KH I've ever attended. The only elder I got along with was Paul Hughes.

should we start selling guns to prison inmates? how about the severely mentally ill? known murderers?
This question is loaded and doesn't even address the issue at hand. You are comparing N. Korea to prison inmates, the severely mentally ill and known murderers. All of these could be applied to the U.S. I think Xander is making a good point. We are the ones deciding who is a murderer or severely mentally ill and it just happens to be everyone who disagrees with our point of view. This join us or die attitude will end up hurting us in the long run.
Let's not forget that it is us who are refusing to sign a non-agression pact. Why? Because we are busy waving our cocks at the rest of the world. We can go around and around all day about N. Korea breaking their treaty but in the end they want oil. Hmmm, who else wants oil? Oh yeah, the U.S. and we're willing to go to war for it that sounds strangely familiar.

i can't remember the name of the congregation.
the hall held four congregations midland, mckinley heights, and crestview and the spanish congregation.
I knew a few people from there but that name doesn't ring a bell.
My old room mate became an elder at McKinly Heights. Too bad, he was a smart guy. Marty Pitts was his name.
so, has anyone here seen any good movies lately?
i saw "bowling for columbine" by michael moore, and it was excellent!
i saw "rules of attraction" and it was bizarre, but enjoyable.
I'm making my way through Memento right now. Other than that the theatre is dead. I'll watch Daredevil when it comes out but I'm really waiting for Xmen2 and Matrix:Reloaded.
two weeks ago my wife informed me that the local unitaran universalists wanted me to speak at their church service which is only two blocks from our house.
she failed to tell me they had originally asked her and she passed the buck, but alas, wiley as she is i agreed to it then heard the "rest of the story".
so last sunday i decided i would case the joint by attending their sunday service which was a great talk about the black tenor, paul roberson.
It took me a good 5 years before I'd go into a church. Once I did I shopped around at many different churches. The socialization was nice but the message was the same. As far as I know Universalists even allow Buddhist monks to give sermons to explain their religion. If I felt a need (which I will never) to be christian I would choose Universalist mainly because they are despised by other churches.
