God never wanted what mankind has built in place of a one to one relationship with him. Mankind says lets make a big deal bow down worship God kill a Virigin or two if things get bad. That was all mankind's doing. All God wanted was to be alone with you on earth spend some quality time one to one. Earth is the only place he can do that.
