  Having a good conscience although doing things not approved

  would you have had a good conscience at the meetings if you would have given or taken blood, and knowingly broken a jw law?.

  basically, what i'm asking is, "would you have been able to have a good conscience as a jw, although you know you did something you deserve to get disfellowshipped for.. .

  I have done things that would be viewed as disfellowshipping offenses. I still do. For some reason it doesn't bother me. In my opinion they are only viewed as offensive by the organization.

  Again, thank you all for the warm and inviting welcome. I plan on reading some threads over the next while, getting caught up on the group dynamics here.   Goodevening all. I am new here and thought I would introduce myself. This is my official first post on this board. What can I tell you about myself that will enable you to try to understand the confusion that is me? I am in my 40's, married for over 20 years to a wonderful man that seems as confused as I am. I was baptized in my teens and am still involved to some extent in the organization. I have questions but don't know how to deal with them.

  I hope everyone enjoyed the eclipse tonight, it was too cloudy here to see much.
