Have Watchtower changed their polices to report to police child sex abuse?

hi all.

just speaking to a sister about the royal commission.. she said they they have now changed their guidelines so that they now report all to the police.. really?

does anyone know if this is true?.

There is a video on tv.jw.org where Gary Braux said "we never change the 2 witnesses rules".

And in addition, many letters said "call legal departement" first ...

In France, in my congregation an elder says that there where 2 pedophiles affairs

one my wife .. but cannot complain to the authority because of prescription

and another one ...

He said to us , there was 2 month ... but no ... JW of my congregation seem to be concerned by this ...

All seem to be like before this "change" of policy ... in fact .. no change at all !

What is exactly the purpose ? because after Russia forbid of JW ... this time WT ask for data ...

for me it's contradictory ... if the same thing than in Russia , get in in Europe or USA how WT explain that data of jw will be accessed by gov ?

Or armagedon is near ... or it is not ! And if the WT ask for personal data I understand that is not near :)

earlier this week a new post on this forum announced that the 2017 worldwide annual service report was available on jw.org.

wow - that's earlier than the statistics for the 2016 service year which appeared in the 2017 yearbook last january!

I think that these figures doesn't reflect exactly what is happening to the WT ... And I suspect that congregations that was close , continue to exists in these figures ... but in 2019 no need to tell that ... since there will be no year book !

How many anointed have come and gone; how many remain?

just wondering if there is any data about how many anointed there were in say 1914, and considering most would have passed 'beyond the veil' already, are the jw's numbers adding up?

we know there are more in 2017 then there were in 2016, but just where are we in the grand total column?.

then we could make an hypothesis all annointed of the year 1935 are dead in year 2014 , because an anointed must be baptized and around 20 years old ... then 70 years and 20 years make 90 years old for theses anointed

then we add anointed of 2018 18 500

we have from 1935 , 52 465 anointed and we add 18 500 from 2018 , we have 70965 anointed since 1935 ...

the problem now is the wt pretends that is a """rest""" of anointed ... for me 50 % is not a rest but the half !

2 witness rule

i'm gobsmacked.. the 7 rock star popes in warwick know darned well that the 2 witness rule allows child rapists to get away with their crime.. geoff (whacko jacko) jackson was at the australian royal commission and should have seen first hand what a vile man made law the 2 witness rule is.. my question is, why do they still insist on this pervert protecting rule?.

i know it's a highly controlling cult but still...........................stuff my old boots, mate!.

I think that GB doesn't need to have something to do with pedophiles, but rather it's a manner to gather jw.

Look at the video of november Gary braux doesn't speak about pedophiles or trials or Royal Commission.

He speaks only about "apostate", in fact he has same approach than Lett , Morris, Splane or Jackson

"There are no pedophiles witin JW organisation"

The aim of this , I think, is to have a hard core of jw , those who are like me or other "normal" person are lost for WT and GB. And the GB know it !!!

Another facts is since .all publications are free.. we could honestly take Swagart trials date , it is obvious the economics model of WT must fall ! Today with all problem they ( GB ) could manage less growth in richest land and big growth in poor land ... but money comes from richest .

At the end they have a chronic shortfall , the only manner to stop that is ( like scientology ) have less member but members that are able to lie , or able to give "fake news"

Don't understand... chile congregations didn't have 400$ for a fine .. but WT has 4000$/day for his own ??

But , in congregation the fine is "for neutrality" , and the WT fine is for pedophile listing ..

I think the WT has a very strange definition of "high morality" :(
