  I'm reminded too of a friend of mine who had a heart attack. He used to be very zealous for the WT but wised up. After the attack my father said, "Well maybe now he'll think about how he hasn't been active in service and regret it. Maybe he'll come back to the meetings."

  I told my friend this and he laughed and said, "It's funny how people look at things differently. The heart attack made me realize that life is short and I wish I hadn't wasted so many years pioneering!"

  I was thinking recently about why I hate the Watchtower Study so much. What is it about it that feels so negative and evil?

  A study article may have a title referring to joy or love but the thrust of the article isn't going to be about that at all, it's only going to be about negative emotions like fear and guilt.

  The publishers end up feeling picked apart, beaten down, and suspicious of each other. It is truly disgusting and no way to live at all!

  If you want positivity and practical suggestions on love and peace you're going to have to look elsewhere. The Watchtower is nothing but a depressing mindf*ck.

  i would urge as many as possible to take part in our new survey, which has been enhanced to implement some of the suggestions we received from those taking part in last year's poll.. anyway, i hope you find the 2012 results helpful and enjoy taking part in our new survey.. by all means share your thoughts on the results on this thread, not to mention any suggestions that will help make the 2014 survey better still!

  One additional question I would suggest: "Have you ever been a (a)ministerial servant, (b)elder, (c)pioneer, etc... I suggest this because some of us may be "mere" publishers now but "reached out" more in the past before finding out TTATT.

  Also I would have offered up more personal info if I had been told off the bat it would be kept confidential, instead of reading that fact at the end of the survey.

  "Anonymous" featured in WT study lesson photo: deeper meaning?

  if this has already been discussed i apologize.

  i'm only here sporadically anymore.

  in a recent wt study a photo was featured in the magazine that showed a "brother" ignoring the "worldly" people around him, including one who appeared to represent the group "anonymous".. i have come to learn that nothing can be taken at surface value when it comes to the borg.
