.
i know i did, i saw the family stone, it was funny and sad at the same time, i would go see it again, and chronicles of narnia, i saw it twice already and want to go again, what about you guys?
?
I liked Narnia better than Lord of the Rings or the Harry Potter movies. Memoirs of a Geisha was great...but had to go alone since the hubster doesn't care for chick flicks. Also loved Cinderella Man if you can get past the boxing brutality. Just got done with my Brad Pitt marathon...River Runs Through It; Troy; Legends of the Fall; Seven, Seven Years in Tibet and some other ones I can't remember at the moment. Will wait for King Kong and Pride & Prejudice to come out on DVD. So many movies; so little time. mumsy
hello all just got our pro wedding pics thought i would share a few...it was really hard to pick the best ones.
enjoy .
luv es .
Wow...I'm really blown away by those! What a great photographer and some great subject material!! I especially love the black and white with the flowers in color. Very unique. Hope you have many, MANY happy years together!! mumsy
well, we all know it is possible, but when i have short hair, i never quite feel feminine.
upon attempting to grow my hair out, i really hit a bad patch of nasty hair..so the other day, i examined my lifestyle, and obligations and really thought on it.
.........so i wacked it all off.
I love it! But then I've had short hair since about 1st grade...now it's salt & pepper and sticks up straight about a couple of inches all over my head. Its just me and I feel quite feminine! I say...keep it like you have it...that looks great! mumsy
today i had the dreadful task of picking up a frozen dead kitty from the end of our driveway.
lest anyone think that this was our kitty (of which we have had one long ago and is now living in that great kitty litter box in the sky), twas not.
it looked quite well fed and its yellow tabby fur was in good condition.
OOooooooohhhhhhhhhh...who knew people could get so reved (spelling?) up about a cat situation. Oh well...it's good to have different opinions...unlike when we were in THAT OTHER PLACE! (But I still say cats stay in or don't complain when they don't come back or get hit by a car or come in the house with 20 million fleas). mumsy

Yes...they are Mr. Rat...but kitties don't particularly like rats...except for LUNCH!! roflmao!!! Seriously...if you love cats...you're okay in my book! I really need another cat. oh yeah...I do. mumsy

Well my dear schne...he/she isn't quite buried yet. I put he/she in a box and it is awaiting the hubsters decision on where to put it. I don't want to just dump the little furball in the garbage...but the ground is pretty much frozen...so...decisions, decisions. Poor kitty.

Today I had the dreadful task of picking up a frozen dead kitty from the end of our driveway. Lest anyone think that this was our kitty (of which we have had one long ago and is now living in that great kitty litter box in the sky), ‘twas not. It looked quite well fed and its yellow tabby fur was in good condition. I suppose it was someone's pet, though it wore no collar or ID. It just didn't have that feral cat look.
I hope that no one purposely let that dear kitty run wild outdoors in below zero weather, or any weather for that matter. Cats can live long and happy lives if they are kept indoors. I know people want their cat to have fun and frivolity in the great outdoors doing what they think cats are supposed to do. Hunt small critters and find other cats to fool around with. But hey, if you want your kitty to live long and prosper and also keep the cat population under control, KEEP THE FELINE IN THE HOUSE! There is plenty for a cat to do in a house, like scratch up your furniture, chase dustballs around (of which we have many) and perhaps watch bird videos on the telly. You can also put out a bird/squirrel feeder on the deck or hanging by a window and provide your kitty with hours of fun, drooling over what they aren't having for dinner.
So I sadly put on a pair of gloves and pried the frozen kitty from the snow bank. It's green eyes were open and it almost looked like it had a grin on it's face, most likely because it was dreaming of joining our kitty in that great kitty litter box in the sky. The most awful thing about the whole dastardly affair was this cat looked exactly like our beloved deceased kitty. Today I have to grieve all over again.
I’ll put on my black shroud and start mourning today, because there is one less kitty in this world for someone to love.

well, this is the first day of winter.
for all those who love winter snow, ice, slush, slipping and falling, colds and sore throats, frostbite and shoveling, enjoy it,.
so, to all winter lovers, enjoy it !!!!!!
I personally love winter because Gary does all the shoveling and stuff...though I have been known to throw a few handfuls of sidewalk salt around (to guard against Brookie suing us if she falls). But this winter has been grueling with the death of Gary's dad and I've got the cold from hell (going on 4 weeks now and the Dr. says: "It's just a virus. Live with it")!
But I wouldn't ever want to live in a warm climate where there are possibly large spiders, scorpions, snakes, alligators, tidal waves, hurricanes, etc. Just give me the occasional tornado. AND...I wouldn't trade fall for anything warm. Besides...I hate to sweat.
