  simple question about popularity

  hi everyone, this is only my second post under this name but i'm not actually new, just couldnt remember my password under my other name as havnt been on the board for a very long time, hey i've even had a bible study in the time i've been away.. anyway, my question is, do you think their is a pecking order within the congregation,not so much overseer, elder, common publisher etc, more as in, one particular family being popular, everyone sucking up to them, them looking down their noses at the meer mortals who perhaps cant afford to pioneer or live in a palace, etc etc..

  By what age can a child be indoctrinated?

  my step daughter went to the memorial, which is her first meeting in many months.

  a 7 year old girl came up to her and asked if she is baptised and when will she get baptised.. my sister has a 4 year old daughter.

  when she was introduced to another 4 year old one question she asked was "does he love jehovah.".

  I left the JWs when my daughter was 4 and 3/4 and she barely remembers anything, so I reckon, if you get em out before 5 I think you can reverse some of the damage.

  Quite frankly how much does anyone remember before 5 anyway.

  Child abuse is about right. my sister becky (renaii) on here, was taught alot of JWs beliefs from my nanna, and as a result becky became quite obsessed with the notion of dying at a very young age, it really isnt a little child needs to think about, I must admit, i felt sorry for samuel in the bible, having your life given away before your even born, children dont belong to anyone, you are blessed just to be able to love them and bring them up responsibly.

  Anyway my eldest is nearly 13 and no ill effects!!!

  oh its so funny. they all seem to be elders, probably all the window cleaner jobs were taken. Im too scared to employ a window cleaner in my area, im worried that Ill get more than a weekly bill ;)

  RENAII had a baby girl 7lb 9ozs yay

  hi just to let everyone know my sister becky had a baby girl this morning, via c-section, thankfully no blood transfusion needed, so no difficult choice there altho i did say if she needed it, she better bloody well have it, its more of a sin to leave your children motherless than submit to a law which may or may not be inspired of god.. i dunno name maybe elizabeth, who knows, she has been known to change her mind!!!.

  Bible belt in america and the amish?

  hi when i watch tv esp american tv shows about the bible belt and amish communities, just wondered if anyone out there lived near those areas and did you door to door witness and was it easy??.

  I suppose ive had some pretty good answers, I wonder if it would feel like living in paradise if you lived in an Amish community, lloks like paradise when I seen it on the film 'Witness' with harrison ford, im in love with han solo hes so sexy.
