Lesbian protest kiss at convention during CO's talk... taking it too far?
by Joliette ini had the funniest thought at work...what if me and three apostate friends protest at a convention, and right before the song during a c.o's talk, we got up, and pretended like we were gonna do a normal sister embrace, and then, out of no where, me and the other 'sister' do would a long lesbian kiss while the c.o.
is giving a talk on fornication....what do you guys think the audience would do?.

What's The Biggest Difference In Today's JWs And The Witnesses From Decades Ago?
by minimus ini believe today's witnesses lack zeal, resolve, "love" of the "truth"......just to name a few things.. years ago, witnesses were excited to knock on doors and tell people they were gonna die if they didn't accept paradise.. now, when you see jws in service, they all look zombied out.. it's a slowly dying religion that will last probably forever like an ancient rotted out tree..

I'm really not sure if there is much of a difference.. Decades ago or current time they still are working for a "Dream" movie ending that will never happen. They continue to relish in false friendships that have only evolved from cult status. Their thought process is still the same and unchanged. I don't see this religion fizzling out anytime soon. They are still recruiting. I see young ones that I thought were more intelligent and on the verge of leaving returning to it for whatever reason. I could go on but I'm sure you get the gist of it.

I'd much rather have a potluck with all of you. I don't really have an "druthers" so to speak of. However, I'm not sure what I would talk about even tho we all share some common ground here. It's been going on 5 years since I've attended a meeting even tho I have a spouse who still does. I am clueless to the current situation of the WTS, once I left, I left it all behind me.

Occupy Watchtower
by OnTheWayOut ini stole the idea from a fb friend.
just like occupy wallstreet (and the spread to various cities), imagine people without a single voice picketing wt at brooklyn and having warming barrels loaded with burning watchtower literature.
if you did, what would your sign say?

Catching the Manipulation in Sundays Watchtower Article
by Butterflyleia85 ininspired by many on jwn board, my goal is to every sunday study the article and find the manipulative parts.
if you would like to join me that would be great!
we can then find them together and then find what the scriptures or insights truly means with research, our own understanding, or maybe how it should be interpreted to ones self.
