I have hired 2 more employees this week that are DF'd to go with my several jw employees...i am giving an amazing witness!!
by oompa ini had two new positions open up out of the blue recently and as luck would have it...for some reason i know a helluva lotta ex-jws lol!
especially with two young and popular dfd sons who also hang with a lot of ex dubs...but that maybe is another thread....we are drawn to those with similarities very often and being an exjw is a pretty small club....and we left a true brotherhood to many and a network for sure to everyone else.
so at work none of the non jws care for the jws and some have asked them to stop giving them paper crap and leave them alone...when one of them acted pissed that i had told some of the guys he would not ride with me to a jobsite lmao....of course they thought a new level of insanity had overtaken one of my normally great employees...so i told her "why would i not mention that to the shop guy/friends...im not ashamed of anything???".

How many here smoke?

Have You Ever Gone To Meetings While Under The Influence Of Booze Or Drugs?
by minimus ini had an italian elder friend that regularly drank his wine (daily) and it was obvious that on some thursday or tuesday evenings, he was clearly under the influence of alcohol.
quite often, we would have a 3:00 sunday afternoon elder's meeting and once again, i could tell he had been drinking.. nobody ever brought it up but i knew him well and he loved his vino and martinis!.
we had a number of people on meds that would either act like zombies at the meetings or cry or get aggressive.

Are There ANY Prophecies or Beliefs That The Witnesses Have Right In Your Opinion?
by minimus inregarding prophecy, i see nothing that they've ever been correct on.
from my understanding, they've always had to change the "truth" about the "truth".. scripturally, i can't see the logic of a godhead or a loving father eternally roasting a person who is deemed "bad".. yout thoughts, please?.

it was never enough.. i remember the first time as a kid i comprehended that i could never do enough for the organization.. a circuit overseer was giving a talk and said,:.
sunday is meeting, and since you are dressed up you might as well do some field service after the meeting.. monday you should spend an hour or so in the evening preparing for the book study on tuesday.. tuesday is book study.. wednesday should be time for your family study, personal study, or preparation for all three.

I felt the same way.... I could never do enough, sigh.. Everything that was spoken from the platform or written in their literature was guilt, doom and gloom.. The only happiness was the future of an everlasting life in a new world with nothing but love.. That was the only carrot they had or still have... I remember when I was first brainwashed I loved everything about the religion and it's members until I began feeling drained.. It actually sucked the life right out of me and I still suffer trauma from it... It will affect me the rest of my life.. The religion is a complete disaster for everyone in general except the ones profiting from it...
