I know things are slow here and KH's are closing but they are not going anywhere anytime soon.... It is just an aging forest and the forest is thinning. New recruits are few and far between and born in's aren't sticking around...

Beards......the CO allowed this one!
by punkofnice ina minny man in a local congregation has a beard...he was bullied by the elders to remove it.. then the co came along and told the elders to allow him to keep his beard.
(not as the result of any skin condition or anything).. i kid you not!!!.
what do you make of that?.

Look, I didn't say it was easy... It took some serious thinking and some kahunas... I still have family inside.. I stuck to my guns... Of course it was tough... The thought of loosing all the so called friends.. The socialism, etc.. Not knowing how people were going to treat me.... Yes, it's damn right scary... But it's worth every damn minute of it... I guarantee you

I left several years ago and have not been hounded, bothered or sought out by anyone. I still see them from time to time, and yes, they do pour out the love bomb when you run into them, but eh, you know what? I know them for who they really are. Most of them cannot help it, they do not know anything else, or are bound by guilt, fear and the "hope" of a new Earth.
Some choose to stay because they need the socialism, like the drama, or have a sense of power due to the position they hold.
Life is short, so enjoy it... You do not need religion to help you through it.

16:5. korah lost sight of the fact that jehovah was directing the nation of israel and consequently failed to show loyalty to those whom god was using.
how much wiser it would have been for korah to wait on jehovah for a clearer understanding or for adjustments if those were really needed.
