Merry Christmas from the Watch Tower & Golden Age!

here are scans of several pages from the watch tower and golden age magazines (1908-1926) for christmas.

these, of course, are from when the jws celebrated christmas and are very pro-christmas.

This is my question, if the Charles Tate Russel Bible Students were God's chosen channel and they celebrated Christmas, why would God choose a group that celebrated a so called pagan holiday? If God is without error, why would He mislead this organization? Why wouldn't He have chosen a group like the Puritans that didn't celebrate Christmas? If Rutherford changed the practice of not celebrating Christmas, doesn't that make him an apostate to Charles Tate Russel's teachings? God's chosen channel? So everyone following Rutherford should be known as apostates to the religion of Bible Students. If Rutherford was right, it still makes him an apostate to the religion the JW's were formed on.
Any other view's on this?

Kenneson, I found that video very helpful, only problem, I can't send that sight to my family, they would view it as Apostate. I have thought about taking that scripture from Colossians 2:16 as a way of saying grace before our Holiday meal. My kid's come to eat, but we have to do everything to make it an un-holiday type meal. The WT has a great word to control information," APOSTATE" , any information outside the WT is apostate, how do you break down that wall? I showed my daughter some information I got off the internet about the Bible that had noting to do with JW's. Oh boy, she got very defensive and said: "Oh no wonder, if you got it off the internet, that's all from apostates". A closed mind to any information coming from the internet.
That's why my post is asking for Scriptures that support Christmas, anything outside the WT or NWT will be from apostates.

issacaustin, thank you too, I think that scripture is the one best suited for defending Christmas and all holidays.

Thank you Sacolton, that's what I'm looking for. I think there's a scripture that say's something about "each person having a right to celebrate a holiday according to their conscience. Are you aware of that one?
