Now, what does the scriptures say NO ONE has EVER seen the Father at ANYTIME. So, who is this LORD that is speaking to Moses and Jacob FACE TO FACE?

It could NOT be the FATHER ...

John 1:18

No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

Baptism valid or not?

i am curious to those of you who were baptised as jws and who have left the organization, but still consider yourselves christians, do you consider your baptism valid?

how many of you out there felt the need to be rebaptised?.

purps, me too! I was originally baptised Methodist long before becoming a JW.

I saw it when I was a teen in the 80s (long before I became a JW) and it scared the crap out of me. It still ranks high on my list of scariest movies ever!

If it's not in the name of the Father, Son AND HOLY SPIRIT ... it's not a valid Christian baptism.

The Issue of Christ as Mediator

i think i've hit on why the wts love to downplay christ's role as mediator.

it's not just so that they can have their two classes of christians.

they have to downplay this aspect of christ because it throws up the issue of his divinity.. who is christ mediating for?.

Trinitarians don't believe that Jesus is the Father. That was NEVER taught. Trinity is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit = ONE.

I had this discussion on YouTube and this is the response I received:

the WT that says Jesus is the mediator for all mankind. "(Hebrews 6:19, 20; 7:3) So the cessation of Jesus office as? a mediating High Priest toward mankind does not end his life. " It's the November 15, 1995 WT page 19 and paragraph 18.

I have no idea what this means.
