There is so much documented events that happened between the dating of the WTS's (607) that what most secular knowledge has dated the final destruction of Jerusalem (586) it would be an improbability for the WTS's date to be correct.
The leaders of the WTS were just poorly educated speculators that wanted 1914 to be a significant year no matter, they intentionally dismissive from even the bible's own information..

In a theological sense when the leader/s of the WTS proclaimed that god had chosen them in 1919, that in itself was an act of blasphemy since these men were already active apostates (false prophets) according to scripture..
If one were to evaluate the JWS religion as being false, this a clear indication of that fact from a biblical viewpoint.
This religion is a formulated false religion inspired from sinning apostate charlatans.
for those who haven't come across furuli before , he is a 77 year old norwegian professor and is ( or was ) one of the few "scholarly" jws used by the society and used as a source on various matters ( especially 607 bce ).. however recently he has fallen out with the gb and has published an interesting book - like many recent scholarly apologists , he seems to be going down the road of disagreeing with the authority of the gb but still holding that the jws is the one true religion.
kind of "lions led by donkeys".
whether this view will continue is anyones guess.

Isn't it getting quite obvious that 1914 was a theological scam that wasn't even supported in the bible if one were pay close attention to Jesus own words " Of The Time " ?

Mind you humanity in ancient times didn't have the informational background knowledge of how and why things occurred to themselves or what they visual saw and witnessed.
Those men witnessed enduring perilous things in their living experience, including their own eventual and foreseeable death, so (their) gods were a consoling and appealing answer for help, since in the acceptance and understanding the gods were actively controlling what was happening to them..
One thing I noticed in regards to the forum is that it has gotten more radically volatile in discussing non JWS topics such as politics and there is more of it too possibly due to the rehashing over relevant JWS subject matters.
I've been on this forum for over 16 years with a previous ID name and I've seen the forum evolve over the years.
In some ways I wish it would go back to the way it was previously where congenial respect was more enforced, present and regulated.

When you really think about it JWS are indoctrinated to worship the Watchtower Publishing Corporation and everything it states, teaches and proclaims, irregardless of contrary scriptural or even secular support.
In terms of sociological, theological and perhaps psychological what could possibly go wrong with that working associated agenda toward following devoted adherents ?
A whole lot in my opinion.

one person yesterday said he lies.
another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.
If only Trump hired people who were as smart and experienced as himself in federal politics he wouldn't have had to fire all those people .
It all follows in the path of logic and common sense.
