Have given the same presentation for many years. I just reel off the main points. Then go back and explain the main points. Questions with short answers I deal with as I go. Questions with longer answers I deal with at the end of the presentation.

I'm asking this so I can understand better.
I'm reading this post as "Splane thinks that the parents of disfellowshipped or inactive children cannot teach them, because Splane thinks that these parents are not "spiritually qualified"/not knowledgeable enough about "spiritual matters."
Have I read the OP the right way?

I usually go to the financial and legal threads first when I read here. This thread caught my eye, so I've been following it for a while. I wanted to see what arguments would be used, on both sides.
I'd follow it more easily if the thread flowed a bit better.

ARC - where to start?

Just a side point - JW are not the only organisation being investigated. Other churches are being investigated, too. One of them is the Catholic church. So if a JW accepts the investigation into the Catholic church as being true, then they would have to consider the investigation of the JW organisation in the same light. The same legal team is responsible for investigating all churches.
I say this because your husband might raise the objection that the JW are being singled out. That is not the case.

I was criticised for watching the Dateline program about WT child abuse and the two witness rule. I was told that this was "apostate lies." Years later, Geoffrey Jackson tells the ARC the same thing about the two witness rule. Yet he is supposed to be a member of the GB.

Don't agree with the name calling and criticism levelled at Christian and Katja.
If I need a dose of judgmentalism or pettiness, I can get that at the hall.
I like watching their videos and hope that they continue to make more. It's more interesting listening to them rather then having to listen to a GB member drone on.

My cat died suddenly!
by Fisherman ini did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.
i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.
so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.
