  hi, i am 19 and from ireland.

  i have been studying the bible with jws for more than a year, and enough is enough.

  i simply decided i don't want to be answerable to a human organisation like that who like to think they have the answers that they simply cannot have.

  I did the same thing after a 2 year study..they were really forcing me to hurry things along, so I told them I had a lot of issues with dedicating myself to an organization.. Believe me,, NOTHING you say will convince them that you might have a good idea. .ever. They will be sad and depressed.. genuinely so.. but are respectful and leave you alone as long as you are not baptized.. You will get memorial invites for sure. Tracy

  i have been lurking here since last fall.. i had done a 2 year bible study and finally sort of mentally lost it ( study nights, clean house, constant worrying).. i was looking for a reason to quit and told my study teacher ( an elder and wife) that i would not dedicate myself to an organization , so they could forget about me being baptised.

  no one speaks to me now even though i was not baptized.

  they said i "knew enough".
