  franz stated something in this mind-blowing book which was definitely true for me.. he stated (this is a poor paraphrase) that very early on during a "study", witnesses can easily show what's in the bible regarding god's name, the condition of the dead, living on paradise earth, etc.

  once these are proven to a person's satisfaction, when the study moves on to more complicated matters, it is just easier to accept what isn't understood on the basis that so far, everything has seemed true.

  by now, there is an emotional investment -and everything up until now seemed fine, so.....................................let's swallow it all, and what is too difficult to swallow comfortably (blood?

  i received the following fax this morning from my old isp(dirtclod.com was coincidentally moved the same day i received notice regarding this copyright infringement for bandwidth purposes) and was seven pages in length.

  I think people told you.

  Its in the lawyers hands. There is nothing more that can be done at this time.

  You were asked to contact Vicki's legal counsel. You refused and made some sort of unique excuse up.

  You were also asked to reveal who you are - privately of course to Vicki and her legal counsel - if you wanted to help Vicki. Obviously you refused again.

  People told you why certain documents could not be released yet you continue on.

  Then people read this cross border stuff.

  What do you expect?

  Copyright laws ....

  I thought it was illegal if you were making money off of them.

  If you are not making money off them - as is the case here - then aren't you allowed to use them?

  Can someone fill me in?

  greetings - can anyone confirm for me whether these articles were officially submitted by the watchtower society to the un (to keep up their ngo membership), or did the un just use these articles and post them on their website without the society necessarily having officially submitted them?

  i guess the wts had to have given their consent somehow, as a minimum.

  what are the mechanics of proving one is upholding un ideals to renew their library card membership?

  on wednesday, 7-30-2003, page 3 has an extensive article of alleged "cover up" by guess who?

  Hoob,

  Most "associated" NGOs with the DPI or NGOs who are with ECOSOC are very helpful and will try and assist you. But it will cost you some money and time.

  You have to use the ones who were approved in 1992 and applied in 1991. There is a partial list on the News releases that you will see at Randy's site and at www.geocities.com/plowbitch69.

  Lots of these records are stored with their head offices and thus, I could not gain access to them in Canada.

  One thing - don't lie to them. You have to be very upfront to your intentions. Some may turn you away.

  One other thing I did find with a lot of the ones I know up here in Canada who joined around that time frame and let me have access to all of their files was that they had misplaced their paper work.

  One other other thing - be prepared to spend some time and money.

  Some were shocked, some quickly hung up the phone, some argued a little even though I was just telling them what was said in the letter and telling them to phone back to the DPI and some asked if I was a JW or not.

  Funny - no one asked if I was an evil person making it all up.
