  middle age sister…very faithful. She invited them for lunch to her small and simple apartment. Now he said he knew the sister had a nervous problem….somewhat of a mental condition….like an anxiety disorder…but he never knew why and didn’t ask. Through the course of conversation, she relates that she used to have a house. And she was bent on having the perfect house. Perfect decorating…perfect furniture…everything just so. She came home one night and her entire house was engulfed in flames. She lost everything. As a result, she had a nervous breakdown and has never fully recovered.

  Call me a Cynic, but I can only imagine the REAL story being "A sister who had mental issues, lost her house with all her belongings, that was fully paid for, during the height of the Real Estate Market. After Receiving Hundreds of Thousands of dollars in insurance money, an Elder in her congreagation, recognizing her mental issues, convinced her how much Jehovah would appreciate her "sacrifice" if she donated it all to the WBTS and lived the rest of her life in a 1 bedroom apartment."

  "He then asked the audience how many have a cup of coffee every morning? Almost the whole audience raised their hand. Then he said, bros. and sis. If you can have a cup of coffee every morning, then you can read your Bible every morning."

  Yes, I drink a cup of coffe every morning, when I am driving to work. So get a job, face reality and stop freeloading of these weak minded individuals who support your false religion.

  (Sorry, those were my first thoughts, although the whole thing was annoying)

  Front Load Washers. Are they good?

  i have been thinking about getting front load washer for my home, but i have not decided which brand, etc to get.

  any recommendations?.

  I bought a WM2050CW a few months back. I replaced a Kenmore Front load Washer that cost me oner $1200.00 U.S.

  I did not want to spend asw much seeing the Kenmore lasted about 7 years.

  It washes well the only complaint I have is that it is louder than my previous washer. (But the colored lights look cool in the dark-lol)

  Some observations from the KM Elder School I wanted to share with you.

  my school was a couple weeks back, and it was interesting to a degree.

  to be honest with you, it reminded me of a police crime scene investigation with yellow tape.

  what i mean is, in one respect it was business as usual.

  attended a jw memorial talk yesterday

  after being da'd for two years, i felt it was my duty to attend the memorial talk for an elderly brother who i greatly respected over the years.. i was quite nervous going back to the kh and seeing everyone.. well, my wife and i walked in, and most of the elders we saw just looked away, or acted like we were invisible.

  several of our old friends winked, smiled, or waved secretly.

  the hall was full, and this elder named jeff renfroe placed us in the 2nd row from the front.

  I was at a JW funeral earlier this year. You are the bigger man. I too left feeling sorry for so many people. It reinforced my decision to leave (even though I did not DA). Continue to live your life, do what is right and watch many of these young ones leave.

  i noticed that they was not a lot available, so have put together something.

  excuse me so called holy spirit directed governing body; what do you do when you discover that a long term hospital liaison committee elder who gives talks at all1 day assemblies, 2 day assemblies & district assemblies and is quite prominent n the victorian/nsw circuit, is addicted to pornography, particularly under age and bestiality porno?

  and oh, if you have print outs of his internet log ins and internet history fully detailing his log ins from his work computer???

  and im not talking breach of privacy, im talking his breach of work usage of computers, of which im in charge of the it.

  hall morgage paid Elders please comment

  elders please comment, when our hall was paid for and its a double hall the brothers at first wanted to wait a few months to inform the cong.

  thats wrong since we paid for it and should know all of the finacials.

  also the publisher rate was lower very little so that we contiue as if we have a morgage.
