  I'm so miserable since leaving the JWs

  i can barely stand it.

  for instance, i have a four-day weekend from work, which means i had today off(with pay, thank you very much).

  The Witnesses are freaking out

  i still go to a few meetings a month just to keep members of my family happy.. the witnesses seemed to be getting all worked up about how close the end.

  it sorta feels like the 1975 era only 35 years later.

  in 2006 when i was dfd-they made the announcement so and so is no longer one of jws.they had to have a special needs talk on what that meant.this way a da jw does not get recognized as such.

  i believe jesus meant the generation of his audience in the 1st century. jws just need to accept the fact that they are going to grow old and die just like the previous 1000 generations.

  in 1935 the judge said-stand up everyone.then he told them-"behold the great crowd".then everyone said-"gee,i always thought i wasnt going to heaven.the truth is they felt they were not going to heaven because they did not have a relationship with jesus.

  Would any of you DESTROY ones faith and life as a JW if they were your dying grandparents?

  this is a serious question, trying to decide the right thing to do.........i do believe in god, i am sorting out what i believe and true from lie and such.

  have question on how atheist and just ones belief in god would respond to this.. .

  if you have a grandparent, (or even some relative) who spent their entire life as a jw.

  i would let them die peacefully-god has mercy on all of us.i have failed to find a christian religion without error.jws believe jesus died for our sins and was raised up.i feel that is sufficent.
