The WT NT says third heaven not paradise . Nobody knows who he's talking about , some say stephen, who would have the holy spirit since he was actively preaching the gospel and was martyred . The israelites believed in the paradise earth under messianic rule , I don't see a scripture where jesus offered a co ruler spot to anyone other than the apostles prior to his death , once he is resurrected and ascends to heaven is when he sends the holy spirit at pentecost to anoint all those gathered in his name . The holy spirit is a gift that is to be used wisely in connection with the preaching work not some freak show novelty . IMO

I think whenever God wants to . The water baptism as the apostle Paul put it, was an appeal to God for a clean conscience so they could carry out the preaching work , a repentance of a former life of sin . The thief next to jesus was not anointed but was promised the paradise earth . IMO

i was in cub scouts and boy scouts.
dad and i went to lot's of camping trips.

afraid I'm no steve Irwin , when I was younger maybe , didn't seem like anything scared me , I'd hike mountains by myself , in the adirondacks or in vermont , no trails just randomly climb . I would totally think twice about it today > LOL

Someone posted about their want to move to canada so I imagine this new,"bleeting", for money is so they can and the ones working there will likely get free health care whilst the rest can just wait on the kingdom . What a joke , no collection plate and no tithing , the world was supposed to end by now and the tower doesn't have money to keep going until the end ,now with the overlapping generation this could go on forever . Did the article include a please and a thank you or was it just another guilt trip? The lady that gave the 2 talents was under law to give 10 per cent to up keep the temple . At the time the religious system was so corrupt there was no point in it anymore and jesus said they only need excercise faith in him to be blessed anyway. I will never give a religion a dime .

I think something got lost in translation . I know the WTBTS says the bodies were rent from the tombs and lay in the street or something. Who knows what it means about the holy ones ? Maybe they just looked as dead and were in a coma then the earth quake woke them up >LOL Maybe it was just a vision. It is one of the oddest scripture in the bible. Could be the apostles were hiding in the tombs wearing the shroud of dead people as disguise . hmmmmmm
