Bill Bowen and Silent Lambs should be viewed as in cahoots with the Watchtower... He is not to be trusted.
Bowen and Silent Lambs serve a purpose for the WT. It's kind of a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours kind of situation.
There are so many abuse cases and if they go to trial there will be million dollar verdicts left, right and centre.
Bowen draws all the victims to him, appearing to be an advocate for abuse survivors, and then has them settle out of court and up until recently, this includes gag orders to keep the victims quiet.
He makes money off the settlements and the WT gets off with a slap on the wrist.
He needs to go down with the Watchtower.
We have excellent resources lined up to really help victims get justice. He is running a scam and his time is up.

I was given this information a few hours ago and was trying to find a more private place to post it, but a hacker I know who is close to several ex-JWs has this... I don't know the technicals of it, but I hope it helps.

The best tactic Anonymous could use against the Society is to make them look noble and humble

i was thinking about what would be the most damaging thing anonymous could do on an organizational level by hacking the society.

one poster suggested that they should send out e-mails to all the elders in their elder database pretending to be the society.

but rather than sending out anything wierd and defaming, they should go the opposite route and do what the society would never do but should.

I really liked your letter Cedars. I love the idea of mass mailing it to as many as possible. Regarding the argument between you and WMF, I think it's a waste of time. Agree to disagree. We are all wankers at times... I say that with respect for both of you, and the collective damage the WTS has done to us all. Remember we are all 'brothers' in that regard. In the words of the late Rodney King: "Can't we all just get along"

No more 3-day DCs starting in 2013?

apologies if there is another recent thread on this, but i have heard from 4 different people in 3 different geographic areas (including someone who does advance work for the dcs), that beginning in 2013 the three day dc program will be replaced by a second two-day circuit assembly.

some people were passing the info along like a secret, others seemed to think that everyone already knew.. if everyone in j-dub land is already talking about this, how is it not all over this forum??.

anyway, can anyone confirm or deny?.

This rumor seems to have fizzled a bit (a la 'no more CO/DO' rumor...) I would have thought by now a few more with good connections would have chimed in. I am still hoping though....one less day would be nice!

I did pay close attention, and the usual mention of the next DC the following year (if it is Jehovah's will)...was not mentioned at all like, so that got me thinking that maybe there's some truth to this...but in the end, true or not, a little speculation is always fun.

Is this the main thread for updates....can't find any huge news yet. Am I just being impatient? Hope this doesn't fizzle!!!

I checked pastebin, and didn't see anything new except for a bunch of norweigian KH address and meeting times...uhhh so what?!

Here's hoping for the big one!! Fill me in if I missed something. I am checking quickly cause I am also trying to work ;-)
