I had a Bible study that ended up getting baptized. She always professed of being of the annointed. I was always so embarrassed. She would say "I do not want to be annointed - I cannot help that I was chosen." She joined another church a couple years after her baptism. I was quite pleased.

My 96 year old grandmother is an infirm regular pioneer. She pioneered most of her life - when she became senile (about 5 years ago) they told her to stay home but they have left her name on the pioneer list.

I finally got around to reading the instructions on how to operate the credit card machines at circuit events. If a member is charged with wrongdoing and wishes to continue to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses, then such one should submit to the hearings of the judicial committee. Only if you wished to continue to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses would the judicial committee arrangement be appropriate or necessary.
What BS! There are so many of us on this board that did not want to be a JW. We just wanted to walk away and be left alone. But, those dumbasses insisted on a committee meeting and a DF'ing announcement.

to all of the jws on the forum, what is your opinion on medical cannabis?
i support it for a couple of reasons.. 1. i've battled clinical depression since age 9. after my anti-depressants stopped working when i was 21, i heard about cannabis' positive effects on depression through the internet and a couple of documentaries so i tried it.

?JW guy and Taser attack during Cowboys - Jets game?
by james_woods ini just saw this on the morning tv news - and did not get to hear enough of it to make sense:.
but, they were saying something about a patron sneaking a taser into the sunday game and using it on another fan.. they also said that one of the guys (i assumed the victim) was "a devout jehovah's witness who does not believe in saluting the flag or standing for the national anthem".. anybody know what happened here?.
