  I truly am in shock at what I saw last night. These two arrogant, ignorant, misogynist men showed up and for 3 hours basically said F*** You!

  We are discussing children being raped and these men simply run out the clock and get the hell out of there.

  ....And then the real icing on the cake (especially for those of us who are DF'ed) is that we shun them. Can you believe this?? Those poor men are "evidently" the real victims here.

  It was the first door of the morning some years back and we decided to start on the top floor. I climbed four floors and knocked on the door. I was a young, broke regular pioneer and could hardly afford any food. I weighed about 90 pounds soaking wet. I was totally out of breath when this handsome middle aged man answered the door. I started my presentation and he interrupted and said "For God's sake eat something and get in shape" and then slammed the door.

  I never worked that building again. It devastated me because I was literally starving, but was sure Jehovah would eventually provide .....

It is 3:15 on a Saturday afternoon; most people have worked M-TH and have already sat through 2 days of mind numbing and eye glazing lectures. That would also be two days of sitting in a hard chair with little movement, eating unhealthy food, smelling ungodly smells, wearing uncomfortable clothes....every one of our senses has been assaulted at this point.... and then we have this...."How to Endure.......

  Movies I'm Watching

  i have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.

  then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.

  here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!

  i remember once in berlin south germany there was a local needs part for the men only, and how they should use the toilet.

  in all seriousness for ten minutes a retarded nigerian was going on about how men need to sit down when using the toilet.

  no mention of anything else.. it transpired that some little kraut boy from an "interested" family would aim for the side of the toilet and leave a great big puddle for others to clean up.

  Why so few XJWs online?

  not too long ago, i posted a topic where i pointed out that there are about 1 million xjws alive right now.

  that number only represented the disfellowshipped ones... didn't account for those who had become publishers and left or anyone else who got hurt by that group by proxy.

  so, why are there so few of them online?

  Of my 39 first cousins and 4 siblings that have all left the JW cult, (all baptized and 4th generation), only two of us really care what is going on in JW land. I think it is because everyone got out at a young age, went to college, married "worldly" people and basically got on with their lives and never looked back. Now decades have passed and they really don't care what some insignificant religion is up to. Where as Nate and I went into full time service for years and years. When we finally had enough, it was hard to cope with the wasted years. The internet helps immensely, but I wish I did not need to come here every single day. I envy the ones who never look back.

  what if fred franz had never existed?.

  those of you who weren’t around in the days when he was the oracle of jwdom or who at least aren’t familiar with the deeper publications he was responsible for probably won’t be able to comprehend the significance of the question.

  i believe he influenced jwdom greatly, and the whole feel of jwdom would have been different without him.. during the 60’s, 70’s, & 80’s (not sure about 50’s), he was considered to be almost superhuman by some (a lot?
