LATEST BIG RUMOR: WTS calls a moratorium on ALL KH construction in US & Canada

based on an informal conversation this past weekend.... an elder with "connections" to the local rbc stated that he heard that the society was instituting a moratorium on all kingdom hall construction in the us and canada.

any projects for which funding has already been arranged will continue, but as of now, no new kh construction loans are being approved by the society.. there are enough projects in the pipeline that rbcs will still be busy for the next year or 2, but after that....who knows?.

Is the number of elders/servants increasing or decreasing?

over the last few years, i have noticed an increase in the number of pleas from the platform for brothers to "reach out" for "privileges of service.

" it has even been said that there are not enough elders and servants in the congregations.

this could be a local phenomenon, but i suspect it is more widespread.

along with that change, was a change of the meaning of the word "disciple".

previous to that feb 15 koolaid, the word "disciple" meant every day rank and file jws im pretty sure that the word "disciple" was radically changed in the feb 15 koolaid.

Previous to that Feb 15 koolaid, the word "disciple" meant every day rank and file JWs Im pretty sure that the word "disciple" was radically changed in the feb 15 koolaid.

This presents a serious problem for JWs and their door to door ministry. JWs follow the commandment to "go and make disciples" In reality JWs are now commanded by Watchtower HQ to " go and make annointed. " That means that JWs can longer study with those who identify themselves with the great crowd. That means that JWs must discontinue studies, if the study does not profess to be of the anointed.

last night the co came to visit.

he gave a talk that centered around a christian's ability to function well within the organization.

there are many christians who are having problems in their personal lives and this can be traced to one thing.

the usual explanaition is, that the new partaking anointed ones are replacements for the "unfaithfull" previous anionted.. what is confusing me, ... looking at the numbers of newly partaking each year .... , to see how many former anointed ones must have proved uinfaithful .... over 10% each year????

what did they commit?

So many on this site have done the calculations and it does not add up. The entire lot of those fakes would have to be unfaithful for the scheme to even work. The may 1st 2007 QFR makes it plain that these new annointed ones are additions not replacements . As a matter a fact that same QFR says the new anointed ones are NOT replacements . Before you talk to an elder, have a scan of that QFR handy. I will dig the scan up
