That makes perfect sense. The brochures are just like the public version of the Watchtower mag. I do not understand how God's communication channel is still teaching the "old light" . Certainly, the Watchtower Society is not used by God in any way.

How long has the Watchtower Society taught this false "generation" teaching? The link(s) below indicates at least 10 years because complaints were made 10 years ago of this very thing.

I just read that thread you posted. Someone said the web page that Randy found was in the 1993 brochure "The Purpose of Life" (I think that is the brochure could be wrong though) Sure enough this latest find is also in a brochure "“Look! I Am Making All Things New” . Strange why the Society would want to hide old light inside of brochures isn't it?

Now Iwonder if the web page that Randy found is still their ... lets have a look see ...

It should be noted that this web page is actually hidden in the brochure entitled “Look! I Am Making All Things New” evidently published in 1986 . You can access that web page that contains the "old light" as follows:

First go to Watchtower.org
Click on “index”
Click on “religion”
Click on “Look! I Am Making All Things New”

You will then see the first page of the 1986 brochure “Look! I Am Making All Things New” Then scroll down to the bottom right corner of that brochure and you will see an arrow pointing to the right and an arrow pointing straight up. Click on the arrow pointing to the right. You will now see another page entitled “The Book That Explains Paradise”

Keep clicking that right arrow until you see the page entitled “Education for Entering Paradise”

So was it simply a mistake by the Watchtower Society . It might be. Of course the Society should be informed of their mistake and that brochure should be taken off their site. Until they do they are going against this scripture:

This is nuts. The FEb 15 -08 WT threw out that doctrine!!. Those whose make it into the paradice ARE NOT THE "GENERATION" as spoken of at Matthew 24:34.

The "generation" is the "anointed" according to the Feb 15 WT. The anointed are supposed to die either at the big A or shortly thereafter.

What happened to the "great crowd" ???

i noticed the complete abscence of any reference to the great crowd in recent watchtower magazines.. the latest jan 15 2010 wt now calls the "other sheep" rank and file witnesses the ......"growing crowd" i think you'll find that on the last page of that wt.

has the interpretation of the "great crowd" changed again?

it seems the anointed class has now stolen both the titles "generation" and "great crowd" any thoughts on this?.
