Infact how could the governing body guide their members through Armageddon, when all the saints are raptured before the end?

however i'm going to direct my thoughts and comments in this initial post to lurking jehovah's witnesses who may read on this board and may be sitting on the fence pondering on whether to stay in the jehovah's witnesses organization.
also to newer members who may have joined the board.. in this latest 4/15 wt in the article , " jehovah knows how to deliver his people " it conveys the thought that only the wt society ( through god's help ) will be guiding any jw's through the alleged " armageddon " considered god's war against the wicked.

From the days of John the Baptist the Heavenly Kingdom is the Goal!

But while studying about this surely no JW has pointed out the real message in this context. Look here what Jesus says:
Truly I say to YOU people, Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is. But from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press, and those pressing forward are seizing it. Mathew 11:11,12
Also in Luke 16:16 Jesus says: “The Law and the Prophets were until John. From then on the kingdom of God is being declared as good news, and every sort of person is pressing forward toward it.
So, do you want to press forward toward the Kingdom of God, the heavenly kingdom, toward the opportunity which was opened only after John the Baptist? I think every JW has thought about the possibility to become one of the 144000. But of course it seems almost impossible, because the number is so small. But you should not feel discouraged.
Jesus told a parallell to tell how hard it is for Jehovah God to fill all the 144000 seats in his kingdom. Luke 14:15-24:
On hearing these things a certain one of the fellow guests said to him: “Happy is he who eats bread in the kingdom of God.” Jesus said to him: “A certain man was spreading a grand evening meal, and he invited many. And he sent his slave out at the hour of the evening meal to say to the invited ones, ‘Come, because things are now ready.’ But they all in common started to beg off. The first said to him, ‘I bought a field and need to go out and see it; I ask you, Have me excused.’ And another said, ‘I bought five yoke of cattle and am going to examine them; I ask you, Have me excused.’ Still another said, ‘I just married a wife and for this reason I cannot come.’ So the slave came up and reported these things to his master. Then the householder became wrathful and said to his slave, ‘Go out quickly into the broad ways and the lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ In time the slave said, ‘Master, what you ordered has been done, and yet there is room.’ And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the roads and the fenced-in places, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say to YOU people, None of those men that were invited shall have a taste of my evening meal.’”

consider yourself if you in some aspect fit the description in romans 1:28-32:.
and just as they did not approve of holding god in accurate knowledge, god gave them up to a disapproved mental state, to do the things not fitting, filled as they were with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, badness, being full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malicious disposition, being whisperers, backbiters, haters of god, insolent, haughty, self-assuming, inventors of injurious things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, false to agreements, having no natural affection, merciless.

Although these know full well the righteous decree of God, that those practicing such things are deserving of death, they not only keep on doing them but also consent with those practicing them.
Here on this forum I find a lot of real apostates. Haters of God Jehovah, haters of evidence in favor for the Bible, sinners in common sense, fornicators, drunkards, smokers defiling their lungs and body with ugly smell.
So a word of God for you: Repent, because God's kingdom has drawn close!

If You Were God How Would You Prove You Existed
by Pig ini ask this because obviously everyone has different criteria, hence why we have muslims who think quran is the more than enough proof, christians who think the bible is perfect proof and atheists who believe that nothing yet has been proof enough of gods existence.. living with humans we all must have a good idea of human nature (god should certainly know) so what would you provide as proof if you were god to convince the masses of your existence?.
if you were a christian would your proof surpass that contained in the bible, would you provide less proof?.
if you are atheist would you provide a mathematical equation or a series of supernatural events that fulfill prophecies every 100 years?.

Let me tell my opinion. It is true. Jesus confirmed it. And other places in the scriptures confirm it also. And the ark of Noah has been found and it is an archeological tourist attracton in Turkey.

Becoming of the anointed & seeing the light
by discreetslave ini was recently born again and thus am anointed because of this i have come to realize that though there are sincere people who are jw, some teachings are fine but the wt organization is a fraud.
here is my story sorry if it's a bit long but i need to tell it.. 16 years ago today i was baptized as one of jw's.
i was 17 years old the only one in my family.
