2.his handling of satan who supposedly seduced eve to disobey god could also have been done a lot differently with a finality to it.. 3.i find little if anything in his dealings with the patriarchs that suggests a loving god protecting them.?.
4.taking on the nation of israel and leading them as his chosen people does not inspire confidence or trust as a god of love.. 5.throughout the hebrew scriptures / old testament his chosen people were constantly at war with other nations which of course would have meant many deaths of the israelite`s during these battles .and the grief that comes with family members in those times.

No problem at all. If you read the New Testament from cover to cover you will see that they are in agreement.
And if God is Love? Yes, absolutely. There was no other good way to fix the mankind than let all that has happened unfold. Just think about what happened in the preflood world when people could live 900 years. Instead of becoming nicer they got worse. Only 8 persons believed God. But look now when people's life span is about 70 or 80 years, so many more believe God.

I am with you. First Revelation 20:5 says: The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.
And then as you pointed out the order of events is verse 10: Satan is hurled into the lake of fire. And then verses 11-15 tell what happens next: The dead are judged individually and each of them is said to stand before the throne and each then receives a judgement according to their previous deeds.
This is very logic.
During the 1000 years occurs no resurrection. Instead the population increases by childbearing. Jesus also told that the resurrected will not marry. So it would be strange if some can marry and some can not.
Also at the end of the 1000 years Satan will be able to get a lot of followers. And they will after that be wiped out. So who would fill that space that will be left after them? Will people again reproduce, and how would these new people be tested?
No, instead the Bible says that after those rebels are wiped out, after the end of the 1000 years, the resureection of the worthy of life will happen. So those will fill the void that will be left by the rebels who followed Satan.

JoenB75, thanks for your reply. I understand that someone could get that impression. But Jesus used double speaking. He spoke simultaneously about the end of the Jewish system and the end of the whole system of things.
Because somethings in Jesus' prophecy about the end did not get their fulfilment in year 70 CE.
One of the things was that first the good news about Jesus had to be preached in all the nations. Not until now has the knowledge about Jesus reached everywhere thanks to the internet.
And after the conclusion of the system of things Jesus would rule the world, and all the wickedness would be eliminated. That did not happen in the first century. So we are still waiting that.
But Revelation chapters 8 to 13 contain prophecies that have occured since 2010. And all the talks about the implantable RFID. Many expect that to become the mark of the beast, that will be used to buy or sell. And without it it will be impossible to buy or sell. Such developments seem to be about the prophecied mark of the beast.
So, many people see that Revelation has prophecies that are about our time.

Flinkenstein, soon, maybe within months, it depends how fast they manage to put in place this new global economic and medical authority, the foretold beast, then the persecution of Jehovah's witnesses will start very directly in the USA and spread to all countries.
I trust the prediction in Revelation 13. That applies to the time we are entering now.
I am not fully sure what the deadly wound to one of the seven heads of the beast simbolized. Maybe it represented Boris Johnson the UK prime minister who was near death, from Covid-19? But now he has recovered.

Finkenstein, Revelation 13 tells what will follow. First of all, people in general will feel good about the new global authority. The Bible says:
3...and all the earth followed the wild beast with admiration. 4 And they worshipped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshipped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?”
And after that Revelation 13:6,7 predicts that this global authority will start a war against the holy ones. That means trouble for believers in the true God.
6 And it opened its mouth in blasphemies against God to blaspheme his name and his dwelling place, even those residing in heaven. 7 It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
But there is hope for those who manage to flee to a safe place before it is too late, like the christians that fled Jerusalem in year 66 CE right after the Roman armies retreated.

mikeflood, interesting to hear the reaction of your PIMI contact. I have essentially no contact with the brothers. I was unjustly disfellowshipped because of running a head of the organization. But I feel like I want to help them get saved from the coming beast and the mark of the beast.
Interesting that your PIMI contact thinks this is the begining of the fall of Babylon the Great.
Maybe that is good, at least that could wake them up. But a correct understanding about Babylon the Great is something completely different. Because Babylon the Great does not represent religions in general. But something much more powerful and influencial.
Interesting that they are proposing a "Corona virus passport". That could take the form of a RFID chip inserted in the right hand. And the authorities could bar anyone without it to enter a shop to buy anything, because you would only get it only if you are proven not to be a health risk.

The single person, the man of sin or as some other translations say, man of lawlessness is a prominent political figure who is popular among his supporters.
I think we have a fitting candidate. But he has not revealed all his caracteristics yet. But its comming.
I expect that he will endorse the authority of the comming seven headed beast.
And a such crisis due to the Covid-19 epidemic with all the economic consequences will surely predispose people to welcome a new Global Authority to solve this crisis.
Gordon Brown wants that the G20 countries form that authority. And then according to Kissinger USA would be the front figure for this new Global Authority.
So that would make Donald Trump the spokes man for the 7 headed beast.
I have seen Donad Trump tell how horrified he has been to see so many body bags.
I wonder if he will turn against God, because of this mess the Corona virus has caused, especially in USA. The massive unemployment, all the sickness and death, all the bankruptcies, etc.
