Here is what allegedly Klaus Schwab writes in behalf of the World Economic Forum about China and the diminishing role of the West.

Gog from Magog
by Kosonen ini saw an other thread about what the wt says who or what gog is.. my speculation is based on the following:.
in the end un will get the power for a short while, as taught in the wt literature.
this is based on revelation 17:12-14: "the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast.

I saw an other thread about what the WT says who or what Gog is.
My speculation is based on the following:
In the end UN will get the power for a short while, as taught in the WT literature. This is based on Revelation 17:12-14: "The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. These will battle with the Lamb, but because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those with him who are called and chosen and faithful will do so.”
So could not the UN be some how connected to Gog from Magog?
I think that China will play a bigger role in the UN in the final days. Many analytics predict the rise of China and the diminishing role of the West.

The WT brings up the theme of fleeing
by Kosonen inhttps://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/watchtower-study-january-2022/those-seeking-jehovah-will-lack-nothing-good/.
this article explains what a modern time application to fleeing might involve in the prophecy jesus told about the last days.. that is a timely reminder.
i think it will become soon possible to flee to australia from the mark of the beast.

a watcher, yes the beast will put under compulsion all nations as the Bible says. But one of its heads will be struck as by a sword. I don't understand yet what country that is about. But God will make it possible to flee to a wilderness and be free from the influence of the beast 3 and half years. I guess that Gog will come to inforce the mark of the beast to Australia. I hope that the beast will be busy enforcing its mark somewhere else at least a couple of years.

Pistolpete, the people are preparing with Riccardo Bosi an adequate response to the ruling class there.

Slimboyfat, the funnel spiders are not a big problem in Australia. Most of Australia is free from them. Far North Queensland near Croydon and Georgetown would be an ideal place. No ticks either in that region.

Asp59, Jesaiah wrote about going in to inner rooms. No contradiction here. First we flee to a place just as described in Ezekiel 38 or Revelation 12 were it speaks about a place in the wilderness. But then about 3 and half years later Gog and his armies come to ravage us, we go in to our inner rooms and wait for the deliverance from Jehovah and Jesus and angels.

That is a timely reminder. I think it will become soon possible to flee to Australia from the mark of the beast. There is a politician who is organizing a revolution and he wants to detach Australia from the UN and freemasonry and covid passports etc.
Looks like Australia will become a safe haven from the beast.

Isn’t JW’s teaching of “the abomination that causes desolation” wrong?
by Abraham1 inwhat “the abomination that causes desolation” mentioned in mathew 24:15 means could be understood only by close followers of jesus because it was part of his personal discussion with them.
by stopping to greet those whom they consider as “their enemies” jws are identifying themselves as “pagans,” according to jesus.
(mathew 5:43-48) thus they cannot correctly understand what the abomination that causes desolation” that would appear as part of signs of “last days.”.

But the abomination referred in Matthew 24 is about something else. For Jehovah's witnesses the cross symbol is an abomination. We would not like to have that symbol at the Kingdom hall. Not either other nationalistic symbols. Even worse would be a spying robot in the kingdom hall monitoring if we comply with whatever government mandates. Or even worse if a govermental spy robot would require that we worship it at the Kingdom Halls.
I am waiting when a such thing will be placed in the holy place of Jehovah's witnesses. That would be the image of the beast according to Revelation 13.

That was John 3:16,17
Here Jesus did not say anything about Jehovah doing this to sanctify himself. So we should conclude that the primary motivation for Jehovah God to save the world through His Son's ransom sacrifice was because God loves people.

Jesus himself tells why Jehovah God sent him to earth.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him.
