  Why would someone argue that in Revelation 16 a similar thing will not be literal?

  As the wild beast will be real, so will its image and its name and the number of its name. In the near future we might see it. The world is planning for this right now since the Covid thing.

  When the seven headed beast of Revelation 13 presents itself and sets up an image of itself for worship, then we could expect God's Kingdom come within a decade.

  Daniel 8 speaks about 2300 days. That is 6 years and 3 months.

  Jesus specified that no one knows the day or hour. But he did not say month or year. I am not saying that some one could point to a month or a year. But I don't think it will be impossible to know that it is quite near.

  We are in expectation of the revealing of the 7 headed beast of Revelation 13. When we get to know its name, if we have enough wisdom we will be able to calculate its name's number 666.

  Death stroke to one of its heads is of course not the same as the beast that entirely goes into the abyss. UN will go into the abyss for a while. Nations are so divided in UN about the war in Israel. So UN will become absolete for a while. Instead an other beast will emerge that is more a financial beast. The 7 headed beast of Revelation 13 which will set up a system that will require its mark for money transactions. All governments seem to be in agreement on that.

  Vienne, I don't see myself as one of the two witnesses. It's impossible, because I am doing my work alone. The two witnesses will be a two persons acting together like Moses and Aaron. And I want to stay alive until Jesus arrives and takes the remaining in life anointed to heaven. But the two witnesses are destined to be killed after they have witnesses for 1260 days. But after 3 and half days they will be resurrected and ascend to heaven. That's of course good for them. We the rest of the anointed will have to endure a while longer on earth. But I would like to stay on earth to be able to help people spiritually until Jesus arrives.

  The coming of the Two Witnesses

  Revelation 11:3 I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.”

  7 When they have finished their witnessing, the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss will wage war with them and conquer them and kill them. 8 And their corpses will be on the main street of the great city that is in a spiritual sense called Sodʹom and Egypt, where their Lord was also executed on the stake

  At the same time as the seven headed beast begins to have authority over the earth, two God’s witnesses will be witnessing in opposition to the world and the seven headed beast of Revelation 13. They will be invincible for 1260 days. But after that the beast in Revelation 18 will kill them.

  They will be like prophets in Bible times, like Moses and Aaron or like Elijah and Elisha. Those prophets in ancient times were active in a small geographic scope, but the two coming prophets will prophesy to the whole world and they will as the Revelation tells be able to strike the earth with plagues, just as Moses and Aaron could do in Egypt.
