  Jesus says to the congregation in Philadelphia:

  Revelation 3:8 …And I know that you have a little power, and you kept my word and did not prove false to my name.

  10 Because you kept the word about my endurance, I will also keep you from the hour of test, which is to come upon the entire inhabited earth, to put to the test those dwelling on the earth.

  The congregation in Philadelphia had apparently suffered a lot, but not given up. And Jesus remarked that they had worn out much of their power.

  Jesus says to the congregation in Laodicea:

  Revelation 3:16 So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth. 17 Because you say, “I am rich and have acquired riches and do not need anything at all,” but you do not know that you are miserable and pitiful and poor and blind and naked.

  Apparently the Laodiceans felt themselves relaxed and secure, as do many prosperous people. And they were apparently spiritually lazy.

  Jehovah God surely wanted that people would not die. But every person has to show if they want to follow God's reasonable rules.

  Genesis 2:15 Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate it and to take care of it. 16 Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”

  Isiah 55:11 So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, But it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, And it will have sure success in what I send it to do.

  Yes, that's the core beliefs Jehovah's witnesses have convinced their members to believe with all the scriptures from the Bible that point to this.

  I studied the "Live for ever" book before I was baptised in 1988. It had wonderful paradise pictures and scriptures added to them.

  Sometimes Virgo is like arrayed in the sun. Sometimes the moon is beneath her feet. But Serpens keeps standing before the woman. This screenshot is taken from the Stellarium Mobile - Star map app I just downloaded. I set the time to 2017, September 23. On that day the sun and moon and the planets were positioned at Virgo as seen in the screen shot.

  How come that there is such a striking similarity with Revelation 12:1-4?

  How come that Revelation 12 seems to talk about the constellations Virgo, the virgin and Serpens, the Serpent?

  Revelation 12:1 Then a great sign was seen in heaven: A woman was arrayed with the sun, and the moon was beneath her feet, and on her head was a crown of 12 stars, 2 and she was pregnant. And she was crying out in her pains and in her agony to give birth. 3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Look! A great fiery-colored dragon, with seven heads and ten horns and on its heads seven diadems; 4 and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth. And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth, it might devour her child.

  Salvation to everlasting happy life. The great crowd will then do what Adam and Eve were supposed to do. The resurrected to earth will do the same. And the 144000 will for the first 1000 years work as kings and priests for mankind. This is really needed so that wickedness can't develope during the 1000 year reign.

  "Leathercrop: And why would Jesus want to do this Kosonen? If at least one Christian church is teaching truth, why isn't it enough? Why not have the choice, like originally in the garden of Eden?"

  Well, Jesus is the truth, the life and the way. We have the Bible were the truth is. Different christian religions are just doing their best to explain the Bible, but individuals can with the help of the holy spirit from God through Jesus Christ see what the truth is if their own weaknesses don't stop them.

  So it is, the wheat and the weed is growing together just as Jesus said it would be. And our salvation is not given by a religious organization, but it will depend on how we individually respond to the word of God. And Jesus is the word of God.
