Well done boogerMan, I have a list of about 30 scriptures about the need for believing Jesus. A week ago I started to send as SMS one scripture a day to 100 witnesses. I pray and hope Jehovah God will give growth as apostle Paul said, one plants, an other waters but God gives the growth.

Two brothers have called back and I have witnessed about Jesus and the truth in general. Some have angrily messaged back to stop sending more sms to them. Let's see what this will lead to. Maybe somebody else here could also start sending scriptures to Jehovah's witnesses. Especially scriptures that the WT society don't want brothers to focus on in the New Testament?

Enoughisenough, I liked the video you posted about the meditation/prayer room at the UN. What could the dark iron ore block symbolise? I recall that Muslims venerate a black rock in Mecca. Why black? The Bible associate darkness with Satan. Any connection?

Jesus foretold that his followers would become persecuted and hated because of their faith in his name. So that would mean that the UN will be against Jesus' teachings. Maybe it is already? At least against some of Jesus' teachings. They say they are for religious freedom, but why then is there not total religious freedom in countries belonging to UN?

Fisherman, its regrettable that the WT org teaches that there are only two prophecies left before Armageddon, that supposedly all religions will be destroyed suddenly by UN and that the world will declare peace and security.

The fact of the matter is that there are more prophecies that have to get their fulfillment first. The WT misses the truth that the prophesied 1260 days/42 months/time, times and half a time must occur first. And the two prophets of Revelation 11 have to appear first and accomplish their mission during 3 and half years. At the same time a litteral mark of the beast will be forced on people just as the recent "injections" were "forced" on people. In addition an image of the beast will be made and people will be forced to worship it. This prophecy in the Revelation book has clearly not happened yet.

Good point Vanderhoven7 about the expression "the great city". That expression repeats in 5 different verses in Revelation 18. And Rev 18:18 says that captains and sailors "cried out as they looked at the smoke from her burning and said: ‘What city is like the great city?’ "

It is so evident from this verse that Babylon the Great is a city on a coast. How else would the scripture speak about captains and sailors looking at its destruction from a distance?
