Time to say 'Goodbye' for a while . . .
by nicolaou inworks piling up and i've got a ton of stuff to do - some of it might even be fun!
i've been posting at jwd/n for more than eight years and i'm sure i'll keep on doing it but from time to time it's useful to take a few months out.
clear your head, waste time in the garden instead of at a laptop, drink a little wine, dance with your daughter, laugh at the dog - you get the idea.

Where's Jesus in this relationship?
Supposedly these people are going to reign with Christ in heaven, are part of the Bride of Christ..........
Very good point. They all seem to have ignored their bridegroom and instead have an intimate relationship with their father-in-law to be.

If you have the Proclaimers book, a simple glance at the appendix will reveal many more dates...

That's a fantastic list. You'd have to be either nuts or blind not to see that speaking in God's name erroneously is false prophesying and the Watch Tower Society's claim to fame is being the false prophets of false prophets.
They're even falsely prophesying that they're not false prophets, that's how false they are.

Hobo Ken was DFd for privately telling an elder that he believed Jesus should be worshipped. Even when he showed the elders the WTBTS legal charter which states that Jesus is to be worshiped, plus the many scriptures to that effect, they actually raised their voices over his so that he couldn't get his point across.
All of this will be revealed in his Death or Obedience podcast (search iTunes).

A die-hard JW might say "Of course disfellowshipping was not instituted into the Christian congregation until 30+ years after Jesus' time, so obviously Jesus did not disfellowship anyone. But he in effect disfellowshipped the Pharisees by strongly condemning them to their faces, such as at Matthew 23. Also, he in effect disfellowshipped Judas Iscariot by sending him away from the last supper."
Ok, so the follow-up question has to be;
Who did Jesus shun?

Elder giving special talk has lunch with us...shuts me down for asking about society money..lol?
by Witness 007 inwe had a nice lunch with the elder giving the "special talk" but the conversation turned toward the cancelled bookstudy....well i went on to explain how knorr made too many meetings for brothers with families and how good it was to have a free night {even though i go to one meeting a week} then i said: "well, headquarters seems to have a very buisness smart brother working there with the publications now for donations due to tax and selling all those buildings in the heart of new york for millions and moving out....{elder interupts me] "yes, but, jehovah is the one who is buisness smart brother..." i thought wtf!
weird response, like was it too un-spiritual?
did jehoover really "tell" brothers to sell in new york?

Stuart Douglas, Cong Co-ordinator in our old congregation, told me that when the Governing Body speaks it's actually Jehovah speaking. Stuart's a great guy, but that's a seriously deluded mindset to be in.
Stuart, if you're reading this, gimme a call and we can have a chat about it.
