  Is the WTS preparing for a MASS EXODUS?

  hobo ken and i were chatting about this yesterday.. the wts has past experience of losing vast numbers of members very quickly.

  from their post-25 and post-75 experiences they will know how best to prepare their organisational structure to remain afloat when they experience another exodus.. we're only 5 years from the 100 year anniversary of ct russell walking into the dining room and announcing the gentile times had ended.

  since then, millions of people have molded and adjusted their lives and personal expectations based on the date 1914. the wts must know that 2015 is going to bring with it one or two upset jws.... so, is the wts preparing for a mass exodus right now?.

  i'm listening to part two of hobo ken's first judicial committee meeting.

  the part of the proceedings i'm at is where the 3 elders on the committee are interrogating hobo about his fellowship with my wife and me (we had started attending a church, this had become known to our respective families, so to save them having to testify against us we dad).

  one elder in particular has a thorn up his backside (and he knows who he his) because hobo, iknowall and their kids went on holiday with us pre-hobo's disfellowshipping.

  Chalam, if the governments are placed by God in their positions in order to offer protection and civil order, then surely it can't be classed as revenge to utilize the policies and laws to afford the religious freedom of people trapped in a cult?

  What the WTS does is bully people. No one likes to see bullying. Didn't Jesus directly confront the leaders of a bullying religion?

  Re. writing to the UN, we're going to do it.

  Re. a pro bono lawyers, we'll be looking into it. Glasgow has lots of human rights lawyers due to all of the political asylum seekers...y'know, people who've had to flee their country for reasons such as changing their religion.

  Re. 1st amendment; we live in the UK.

  it go me thinking about my own situation.

  me and my wife have been gone for a while.

  I'm pretty sure they won't bother with you if you're DAd. If you were DFd and are known to still be practicing the same sin, they may not bother with you. But I think a lot will depend on current "truth" contained in policy letters given to the elders or on how much of a focus the CO puts on it when he visits.

  Prayer is powerfully important. But guess what? As Christians Christ expects us to not only pray, but to obey. If we're Christ's body on earth, then sometimes we need to stand up and be counted. That may mean taking the WTS on in some shape or form.

  Remember, it's the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society Incorporated. They're a corporation. They're a business. They have business advisers and consultants, lawyers, board meetings, reports, flow charts and all the other bits n pieces that any other New York corporation has.

  Number one is the bottom line.

  I prophecy that they're readying themselves for a significant drop off in adherents over the next 5 years. And I think this suits them fine. 3 million bleating and obedient sheep who'll do anything and go anywhere for the hired hand (faithful slave) is better than 7 million cantankerous donkeys.

  Maybe the exodus won't be MASS, but it'll be constant and consistent.

  Very, very good point, Blondie. Speaking personally, we only joined our church in March. By then we had been classed as DAd since last October. We were going to church services in October, but weren't members...
