  does this mean that our uk apostabuddies are now able to lay charges against jws who insult them in some religious way?

  What if an avowed atheist were to say that Mohammad was a warlord and that burqas are bondage? Would this get column inches in the newspapers and would people be hoping that they would lose in a court case?

  Would we expect the atheist to get an education? Would we be offended at the atheist taking exception to the Muslim's beliefs? What about an atheist's reputation in the community? Are atheists to be free from accusations of intolerance towards the faith of Muslims or Christians, or do they get a pass because to them any form of faith is delusional and irrational?

  Conversely, what if a Muslim where to argue that Christians were offensively arrogant by stating that Jesus is the only way to God? Would they be charged with with breaching Section 5 of the Public Order Act – causing harassment, alarm or distress to the Christian?

  Would we be posting on this forum that we hoped the Muslims would get a criminal record and a £2500 fine?

  Are we on a level playing field?

  You all are assuming that everyone will use this toolbar. That's a big assumption, and I don't think it will pan out. I know I won't install any such thing.

  But what about those who, unlike you, will install it? No one is assuming that 'everyone' will install the toolbar. Assuming that we're assuming that is an assumption, and a big one.

  Among the things Mr Vogelenzang, 53, is alleged to have said is that Mohammad was a warlord. His wife, 54, is said to have stated that Muslim dress is a form of bondage for women.

  Yeah, I can see how the Christians in this story could be perceived as being nutters for saying Mohammad was a warlord and that the burqa is a form of bondage.

  Is Christ still a slave and will he return as a slave?

  The answer is no; his time as a slave to mankind is over, he's now King of King and Lords of Lords. To suggest that he is under the inspection of some Master or other is false.

  when i was a jehovah's witness i remember these debates being mentioned about the raps of innocent children that elders commented, the blacks and whites segregation, the crosses and christmas tree in the bethal, etc.

  jehovah's witnesses have always been harassed for these things.

  with the changing world and knowledge of the scriptures they work hard to try to work towards accurateness.

  Once again, God is not dependant on people like Mannasseh or Moses (he never was, it was people who needed visible kings and leaders). Therefore, the entire premise of the Watch Tower Society of being God's channel of communication, God's only true organisation on earth to which people must come in order to receive salvation, is an Old Covenant idea.

  And no matter how much time and effort the Watch Tower Society spend in trying to prove to people that they need an Old Covenant structure to follow and obey, it doesn't change the fact that we aren't to worship in this place, or in that temple, but rather to worship in spirit and truth, being guided by the Holy Spirit, with God's laws written on our hearts; in other words through the New Covenant.

  God isn't going to restore truth to the Watch Tower Society; it didn't have it in the first place.

  While I appreciate the time and research put into this, I don't think Jesus is the slave. He's the Master, consistently throughout the Gospels. He's also Lord of Lords and King of Kings. His days of ministering to men are over and we now have the Holy Spirit as our counsellor and comforter (paraklete).

  The faithful and discreet slave is a slave of Christ (Christian) who is faithfully and wisely administering to the spiritual needs of fellow Christians. Luke's parallel description of the faithful and wise servant has Jesus go on to elaborate that he's looking for a servant who'd be girded and ready to open when he knocks on the door. Therefore Jesus can't be the faithful and wise/discreet slave/servant.
