  Who is an atheist here, just wondering?

  I now lean strongly to atheism. If God dose exist he doesn’t get involved so may as well not exist.

  Murderer's Paradise too...

  i know this story to be absolutely true: a child grows up in a typically dysfuntional home with 5 other siblings.

  one of the brothers, known throughout the land for his mean temper and addiction to alcohol, confides - no brags - to this child, a girl, that he has committed a murder.

  the child, being 8 or 9 at the time, doesn't understand the concept.

  What response do you think I will get if I ask the elders the following?

  If something the Society said violated your conscience what should you do?
  (Example reporting a criminal to the authorities)

  What if the wrong person was accused and is in Jail for these criminals’ actions?

  I was personally involved in a case were an innocent person very nearly went to jail because of the criminal actions of a JW. He had actually been framed by the witness as a cover. Didn't go to the elders but went straight to the authorities. I got some very strange looks from the elders but no one dared to confront me about it. It was obvious they would have rather dealt with it internally. I made it evident I didn’t give a dam about the congregations reputation. I was more concerned about the guy being accused.

  Need help bad. I think I have the demon of Apostasy Please someone exorcise me. Yesterday my Black Sabath CDs jumped up and ran out of the room. My bible spontaneously combusted and my canary started singing Stairway to Heaven. The TV switched itself on and started playing the X Files. I’m really scared. Will I have to go back to the meetings to be saved or do I just sit back, go with the flow and enjoy the drugs

  If you can’t help exorcise me at least help me find my Black Sabbath CDs
