My oldest son will graduate high school in May 2011. He has been accepted to two universities and there is a third one putting together a scholarship package for him in regards to his track and field . It's very exciting. I'm so proud of him!!

Are Tie Neck Blouses stylish, or is there too much going on?
by miseryloveselders inthere's a woman in a different department next to my department.
she's a very attractive woman, but at times she wears things that leave me perplexed.
for instance, she had this blouse on with baggy swashbuckler sleaves.

Good Morning to Little Can'tleave. I live in the state of Michigan in the United States. That's pretty far from you!! I am happy to welcome you to this board and even though I don't know your parents, I'm very proud of them for the strong decision's that they've made.
I hope you enjoy your birthdays and Christmas and every other things that most other young people enjoy! My boys just had Christmas for the first time 3 years ago and we really enjoy it. We're being old pro's at decorating the tree and house.
Take care and be good!

i don't think there are any football games that day.
what would you say or recommend to your non-jw neighbors?.

QuestioningEverything
Hopefully not. I don't want to speak to them at my door ever again. As a matter of fact, when I move this spring (2011-April) I am putting a "NO religious solicitor's" sign on my door.
Hope every one has a Merry Christmas!!

Attention Born in Lurkers
by stuckinamovement indo you feel that something has changed within god's organization?
have you noticed that in the past several years there has been a more authoritarian spirit displayed in the publications and from the platform?
i am in the beginning stages of a fade away and wanted to express my thoughts.

I felt very sad when I read your post. Your post hit me in the heart, I have two sisters and I can't fathom not having them around to share my life with. They are my best friends.
I hate what this religion does to families!!! It's a CULT!!

Swastikas on the tree: how the Nazis stole Christmas
by BurnTheShips inhttp://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/art/news/swastikas-on-the-tree-how-the-nazis-stole-christmas-1848467.html.
presents wrapped in paper covered with nazi symbols nestling beneath a tree adorned with swastikas and grenade-shaped baubles: welcome to christmas under adolf hitler's third reich.. .
as a new exhibition in the western german city of cologne shows, the nazis tried to skew the christmas story to do away with the jewish baby jesus and impose their racist ideology and propaganda on the popular festival.. "celebrating the birth of a jewish baby was unthinkable for the nazis," juergen mueller, the chief researcher behind the exhibition, told afp.. "but christmas was too popular to be banned.
