  thank you, and i do plan on sticking around... and i am not a troll.. my question wasnt just for kicks.. if i wanted to get a rise out of people believe me... i wouldn't have asked that innocent of a question. Thank you to the people who have taken me seriously, but for the people who think this is a joke.. well your opinion doesnt really matter then... thanks again ataloa for being one of the ones who dont think i am a troll.. for being one of the one who didn't judge me on my first post. and thanks to the rest as well who didnt judge and criticise

  can someone tell me what a troll is??? and any way, as I have said before... this was an argument between my grandma and me. she thought the whole yoke verse was about races and i disagreed with her and told her all humans are equal and she said yah in god's eyes, and thus she proved my point but still didnt think i was right, and i tried finding verses on my own so i could prove it to her that mixed race marriages were okay in the bible, but i couldn't find any, so i came on here to see if ne one knew what the bible said about it... I wasn't asking anyone if i should stay with him or leave him... even if my grandma was right i wouldn't listen to her.. i just dont like being lectured ,and wanted to prove her wrong, and thanks to some people that was made possible.. thank you so much everyone who supported me.. why are there so many anti-jehova's here on a jehova site any way?

  Who said i was asking permission to date him?!? I was asking if the bible said it was okay! big effin difference here... like i said i wanted evidene to back myself up so that my grandma couldnt tell me that races shouldnt mix cuz she thought the bible said so... I didn't believe her, because I know Jehova god is loving, and fair, and kind, and he sees all humans equally. I told her that too.. I was like Grandma all humans are equal, and she was like yeah in God's eyes.. and i was like Duh!! isn't it god we are talking about, isn't that all that matters.. god created us equally and therefor i should be able to love whom i want to.. . and btw he isn't a strong catholic, he mainly considers himself to be christian... and thank you so much for explaining the yoke thing. thank you thank you for your support. another thing.. I am passed the whole mixed race question, I have my proof now, thanks to everyone who supported my question and didn't criticise me about it. The only problem now is his parents... sigh...

  i'm not worried about what all the other ppl want, i was just curious about what the bible had said about it, so thanks to all you ppl who support me... and well i guess the only thing standing in our way is his parents...

  Something I am happy to say is that he is not Muslim. He is Christian... and I never would have came on here to ask this question, it was just that my grandma was telling me about a scripture that says something about yolk... and she thinks it means we should stay within our own religion/culture. I disagreed, and wanted to find out what the bible said about it to back myself up. i tried finding scrptures, but i had to get ready for work and didnt have time.

  we only have one problem.. His parents won't allow him to marry a Canadian at all ( I am canadian). We dont know what to do about it, cuz its either me or his family, and the thought of losing his family is a lot of pressure on him... but so is the thought of losing me... and I don't want him to lose his family, but i cant stand the thought of losing him... it hurts every time we are together, and I feel really sad when he makes me laugh, cuz i dont know how long we have to be together. His parents dont know bout us, and if they did he would be kicked out.... I love him so so much.... I wish there were a way to convince them to accept us... I really wish there were...

  and i know we are all human.. i hate dividing us too.. even though i did with the question.. but i even said that too him when we were talking about it.. I asked him if his parents cared at all about how he feels and he was like its not like that.. its just that people would talk.. and i was like what ppl? other Iraqi's? and he was yeah like my family, and i lost it... i was like omg this makes me feel so alienated, would i be scum to them!? I am just as much human being as anyone else is!

  its so hard... we dont want to lose eachother...
