  Trinity pamphlet, - a response & research

  i'm not sure how much of this is old news to y'all but after being handed this literature, i was trying to find evidence on the ante-nicene fathers it quotes in this pamphlet.

  i figured, if early christians didn't believe in it, then, to me anyway, the doctrine held some water.

  i stumbled upon this essay by eric francke which is a direct response to the pamphlet and very well written in my opinion.

  Josephus' passages about Jesus are widely acknowledged as later Christian interpolations into his text.

  Actually one of them (the James passage) is widely acknowledged as genuine. The other is disputed however, many historians accept at least parts of it as genuine.

  We find evidence for this reaction here, in the forum as well as across the entire world. Only recently have the philosophical implications of science become well known to enough people in all major cultures for the leaders of these cultures to realize what is at stake.

  Your above comments could possibly apply to some of the materialists here as well.

  i never thought i would do one of those infamous goodbye i cant take this board anymore posts where the person shows up again a week later and looks like an idiot.

  when i had enough of this board and needed a little break i would just quietly leave for a few months and hopefully nobody noticed.

  when i was a bible believer, i accepted the flood.

  the frozen mammoths and seashells on mountaintops were "evidence", but the only needed proof was simply that the bible said so.
