they believed that this generation would by no means pass away until all things were fulfilled within their lifetime.. jehovah's witnesses were suckered!
they bought into everlasting life and never dying.

I can remember an old friend who was in her late 80's. She always wanted to see the end. I just found out she is still alive but a friend who helped me out with appropriate clothes for the meetings. (I was a former hippie so just had weird stuff.) Anyway, my former friend Jeri just died and she was only 61. She died not knowing. Sent her a letter but no response, when I left. Some that are still in refuse to believe the end isn't just around the corner. Even, when you make it a joke!

Is health care really better in Canada?
by Bubblie insince, i live in the us, i have always heard that they have better hospitals and access to health care in canada.

Let's hope something is fixed soon on our health care here in the US. I am starting to pay my own insurance. It is costly since I don't have a job yet. Maybe, I could work to get enough money to pay for the insurance or find a job that will give me health insurance. I am not sure that is something that can happen since right now not too much to choose from here in TN. Thank you all for your input. Guess I really can't move to Canada right now either.

An HD channel on Dish has all kinds of good music. Last weekend before the Grammy's they had Robert Plant & Alison Krauss doing their Cd "Raising Sand." They did Gone, Gone, Gone, Stick with me Baby, Rich Woman, When the Levee Breaks (a fabulous solo Alison did) and Black Dog. T. Bone Burrnet was on there, too as well as interviews with them, too. Paul McCartney with the Electric Proms was on and did old Beatles stuff. They did Get Back, Let It be, and so many I can't remember now. On Storytellers they had Coldplay. That was my favorite. They did Yellow, Politik, Speed of Sound and Stolen. They are so enthusiastic if not great live. They just make you like them. Anybody see any of them?

Did You See Joaquin Phoenix On Letterman???

for 10 long minutes letterman tries to interview phoenix but cannot get anything out of him!
this is either a gag or phoenix is just like his other brother river who died from drugs.. what a contrast between that interview and craig fergerson and robin williams on last week.

I agree he looked like he didn't want to be there to plug his movie. Couldn't remember his co-star's on purpose. Letterman really tried to joke with him and he wouldn't go for it. He did lean into Dave at the end and tell him something. Maybe, he is messed up because of the fall he took recently. And like everyone else says he is so through with Hollywood and acting. When Dave invited him back to do his music, Dave said like that will happen. He said he owed Farrah an apology. So, was it drugs?

Any resemblance by me to anyone on here posting or not posting is fictional. Also, true! It's all me folks with my imperfect self saying all the $hit that gets me into trouble with those that do not agree with me. Just remember I am on drugs from the pschiatrist so they could make me alittle nuts at times and I did just go through a divorce that was amicable. However, that all changed when he moved in another woman as soon as I moved out. That did make me go off the deep end. I am regaining my self esteem slowly but sometimes I still get kicked in the teeth by the loyality of some supposed friends from off this board.

Have you seen the movie Kilowatt Ours? It was on PBS tonight all about making electricity, mountain tops disappearing, childhood asthma, and global climate change. I should have posted this earlier if you are in a different time zone maybe you can catch it. Sometimes, you can get it again on the weekend. I believe it is not a scam.
